We shouldn't need it. For years we've been screwed over like this but in the end we invite it. You could see it happening all the second half. Same at Cardiff, same with West brom. We need to adopt an attitude where we expect crap decisions like that, we just need to ensure when they happen We're more than 1 goal ahead and hanging on.

Agree.

and in any event, I don’t think VAR would have overruled the on field ref’s decision as it wasn’t a clear and obvious error by the ref.

There’s been 3 or 4 occasions this season where if VAR had been in use we would have had a penalty given against us.
