Guest wilyfox
Palmer back in please. Wouldn't replace Bannan unless he's carrying an injury.

bigash_swfc
Every single time one of these threads are started. It's a line up that's never been tried together. Even after 2 wins and a draw, our fans still want change

Mike Hunt
Its the OP's mission in life to get Bannan out of the team , as soon as he has a mediocre game he is straight on it . Also what did Lees do wrong to get dropped ?
WalthamOwl
Hope Rhodes gets a start. If Bannan is injured (think I read he’s carrying a knock) I would like to see Luongo come in for him. HirstWhoScoredIt
I don’t think we should change the system when on a run but I think the strongest system and XI for the players we have available is:- 3-5-2 Westwood Iorfa Lees Borner Odubajo Luongo Hutch Bannan Harris Forestieri Fletcher That looks a really solid team to me. Dawson Odubajo Iorfa Borner Fox Murphy Hutchinson Luongo Harris Rhodes Fletcher Just swap Palmer for Odubajo and I would go with that. Rhodes did enough in the second half on Saturday to deserve a start. Tom Lees looked very uncertain and a lot of his passes were risky to say the least. Can’t see Monk dropping Bannan if he’s fit though.

Avon barksdale
At 34 and entering this busy period of games. We should be looking to rest Fletcher but he’s playing that well and he’s that important to the team we simply can’t .Hope we don’t regret it . Hes better than kun aguero

Agree with that, although I can’t believe we might be lining up with a Fletcher/Jordan Rhodes partnership It could be quite effective against Derby, but it seems a bit old school, and a bit out of step with the way football heading. Lacks a bit of sophistication, will likely struggle against the better sides
DIPPS_S.W.F.C
Play Bannan,if fit. Rhodes for Dave. Lees got to play. Reach on bench.. IMPO that is.. UTO....
Sultan_Pepper
Don't like changing a winning team but I think we look a little more solid with Palmer at right back. I would like to see Luongo in the side but forcing him in when we are winning is a brave call. Something to be said for rotating to rest with a hectic period underway though. Instead of Big Dave lumbering around for 60 minutes we can watch Rhodes flapping around like a fish out of water...can’t decide which one would be the best for entertainment value or effectiveness! I’m sure Rhodes will score a goal or two at some point, I just wish he would run like a footballer rather than a ballet/belly dancer....Reyt puts me abaht! Bit more sophisticated than Fletcher/Nuhiu but will it be effective?

If we are wanting to play 4-4-2, then I’m not adverse to giving Rhodes another go, but I hope this isn’t going to be the way forward
Lawrie’s Left Peg
Derby tend to play 4-2-3-1. Therefore would play 4-3-3 with a marker and a sweeper. Fullbacks staying at home and narrow. CDM to cancel out Derby CAM and 3 forwards to stop Derby full-backs joining the attack. For these tactics: Dawson Palmer. Iorfa. Lees. Fox Lee. Hutch. Luongo Murphy. Fletch. Harris (assuming Fessi out. If not swap for Murphy!
