My view is other than a couple of short periods he’s given his all to Wednesday, he’s a useful substitute to have who worries defenders despite being far worse in the air than he ought to be, he’ll rarely score you regular goals (unless playing for a new contract), in certain games (Middlesbrough away) you might consider starting him, but he should be our 4th striker with 3 better ones playing more often (currently only Fletcher is noticeably better). I dint get on any players back and I would definitely get on his. He deserves support like any player giving their all.
