Wednesday Player Salaries. Can it be True?

Recommended Posts

I found this as I was browsing around the Wibbly Web.

Can it be right? Throws a few myths out of the window.

Borner is playing for nothing.

Interesting to read that the owners are proposing to extend the stadium to a 50000 capacity.

Click on some of the other clubs links to see some astounding figures. Man City salaries quoted as weekly as there isn't enough room for the 000's. De Bruyne £350.000 pw

Found out on Sunday that Borner is living 10 doors away from me - I might take him some fish and chips round if he's playing for nothing WTF:

If the list is true or even partly true, who is giving value for money and who is stealing a living.

You can only name one in each category.

VFM

or

SAL

That website looks about as credible as Boris Johnson's manifesto.

Which is infinitely more believable than Corbyns

Leave Uncle Jez alone. Boy would he be in breach of the P&S rules if he ran a Football Club.  Wonder if he uses the same Accountants as DC ?

Are those gross or net figures. I  accept that players tax arrangements are complex but for instance I thought some of our players were on more than that. Rhodes for instance must be on £ 35k a week which is nearer 1.8m per year.

Ridiculous money for second division players.

Obviously a wind up with Rhodes quoted at £21k per week.

Mr Mason has already told us he's on £50k and he always tells the truth.*
