Proud of the chairman

We’re marginally better now then we have been - in that we now are skirt around the fringes of the play offs rather than not getting near them.

were still not particularly good though - and have paid a massive price for the privilege - including selling our ground and the rest.

Very true, but we're not, based on on-pitch-performance, skirting around the fringes of 3rd Division, or actually in the 3rd Division.  This may change for the worse, but rather because of FFP (right) not because of Players on the pitch.  Wednesday is not getting blown out of the water by anybody, sure, we lose or draw more than we should, but, nobody actually outplays us, we give it away in the closing minutes. THAT, is why we're not Top 2, not because of anything Chansiri did.

I seem to remember that everybody was pleased with all those big-money signings, and would have been furious had Chansiri not spent the damned money....ill advised he was, but that's not on him, he bought a Club, a storied and hallowed Club, which was about a month from disappearing forever.  For some reason, he took a liking to SWFC, while knowing zero about English Football, and if he were in it for the money, he would have jumped ship quicker than Bruce did.

So, I'm proud of Chansiri.

For a chap who's looking to "learn" you seem to have pretty well entrenched opinions.

I have only one "entrenched opinion", support SWFC through good times and bad.  And I HAVE learned a bunch about Wednesday, since joining this site, and OWLS Americas, and I do learn from your comments, which I sincerely thank you for.

He may have been ill advised but ultimately the buck does stop with Chansiri.

Also it is completely false that the club was a month from going out of business when he took over.

Think Chansiri time at the club has been a massive missed opportunity.

DC has ploughed a lot of money into the club, a staggering amount to be truthful and has 'given it a go' as he said he would when he took over the club.

However, one should not be proud of chairman that has taken us to the brink of relegation via a probable points deduction and tarnished the reputation of the club re financial misconduct because he couldn't sell the ground to himself without being accused of 'cooking the books'.

Damn all those other clubs getting promoted when they should give us a free ride. Never right.

Which is why I would never criticise him for not getting us up.

agree strongly with that. We coud do everything right for five years and longer, and still miss out.

I doubt DC really understood that when he bought the club. My guess (and it can only be a guess) was that he assumed that basically with one big shove we would get there.

Losing 7m is a good result compared to us and probably all the others..

It's all relative.  PNE is not a destination for known players.  Chairman still has to pump in massive money.  It's not sustainable in the least.  None of this is
