There were people dancing round the maypole high fiving each other on here when he said/announced the club was up for sale at the fans forum, saying it would be for the good of swfc if he did leave, those folks haven't disappeared or changed their minds..............nobody wants him to leave.............behave.

Personally, I think him leaving would be a positive thing- but only if he could be trusted to hand us over to someone reputable. Sadly based on most of DC's decisions so far I don't really have much confidence in that regard.

Whist I agree that it may be improbable, it's certainly not implausible.

We have busted FFP. The EFL are going after other clubs who have also fallen foul of the rules. This whole Liverpool obsession needs to stop.

My opinion is if he doesn't mend his ways it's probably best long term he does leave. If he runs the club properly and sensibly then I don't think people will have anything against him.  The problem is we are in a short term pickle that he is going to have to get us out of.

I can see why people like him - he has sunk money in like nobody else ever. I just happen to not agree with some of the things he's done and feel he's spunked his money foolishly and that could leave us in a right mess.

All of this reminds me of Chamberlain, coming back from a conference with hitler, after being bullied by Hitler and told that if England does NOT agree, that he, hitler, will be even more mad.   Then, Churchill steps up and says fuuck you hitler, let's have a go. And the RAF, severely out-classed, shot the Nazis, out of the sky, and they never came back for another dose.  Same here.

The EFL is going to get the same, because ONE Club, says fuuck you and the horse you rode in on, let's have at it.  That Club would  be Sheffield Wednesday Football Club.  Hat's off and raise a glass to DC.

Identical situation.

It's risible and totally and utterly implausible.

Let me put it this way, do any of you think that Wednesday doesn't  look better on the pitch NOW, than across the last 20+ years?  Can anybody name a more dedicated Owner over the last 20+ years?  I don't  mean that sarcastically, I mean that in the sense as I'm looking to learn, that's why I'm on Owlstalk.

We’re marginally better now then we have been - in that we now are skirt around the fringes of the play offs rather than not getting near them.

were still not particularly good though - and have paid a massive price for the privilege - including selling our ground and the rest.

Only thing that has let him down is his stubbornness, he bought the club with very little knowledge/experience in football, should have sought advice from people with experience of the club I. E. Howard Wilkinson, against all advice he chose to do it his way and with the sharks that ripped him off subsequently getting into a right old mess and wasting millions, can't deny the fact that his gamble nearly did pay off nor doubt his and his families passion for the club.

Nope.

Leicester won the league, sold their best players and are astonishingly title contenders once again.

No muss, no fuss, no sentimentality.

Has someone told the Premier League.

Might need that title stripping after this revelation.

We are currently doing no better than we did under Brian Laws about 10 years ago. And to bankroll this negligible lift in results we've essentially thunderfucked the finances and put the club at risk of relegation via a points deduction. The squad is aging (we are yet to field a player this season under the age of 23). How is that new team going to be assembled if we have a transfer embargo? Some of our fans are seriously living with their heads in the sand about where DC has taken us.

And SWFC is still playing better than the past damned 20 years, sorry.
