If he gets away with this, it doesn’t excuse him of being responsible for getting us in this mess in the first place.

Some posts on here make me question if they are actually supporters. It's as if some just want failure and relish in bad news. Nothing has actually happened yet, but some presume guilt based on what the EFL say, just hope these people don't get jury service. Bedwetters and surrender monkeys.

I don't understand how the charges are "unlawful". The statement suggests that the EFL has created a legitimate expectation as to what it would do and not only that but that the expectation is "binding". Well, who knows. But even if those statements are right, it doesn't make the charge "unlawful". It might mean that it was an unlawful action to lay the charge (as opposed to a misguided action), but that is not quite the same thing.

Who knows? Suffice to say, it is not the most forensically drafted statement.

Unlawful. Contrary to or unauthorized by law; illegal. When applied to promises, agreements, or contracts, the term denotes that such agreements have no legal effect. The law disapproves of such conduct because it is immoral or contrary to public policy. Unlawful does not necessarily imply criminality, although the term is sufficiently broad to include it.

Sooner or later a club was going to challenge the EFL and the inept way they go about their buisness, just hope he has all bases covered

I mean we'll probably screw up but it's going to be an epic journey, and hopefully we'll be top of the prem by then.

Would be hilarious if we could take the EFL to the cleaners in the courts. Prove to the world what an absolute shower they are, but it's an extremely risky strategy because no doubt they will then (try) and pursue a vendetta against us.

You would need to be a solicitor to decide that.

Investing heavily, agree brilliant and should be applauded for it.

Investing way over our means resulting in us having to sell our only major asset. Not so good.

Only have to sell the club on paper to himself.

Just to get around EFL rules

We obviously haven't spent beyond our (DCs) means

Maybe some of the other clubs will want to join in the action or at least help finance it
