oldishowl
Watched some of the Preston game last night. 3 times at least their big striker lost a header and went down faking an head injury to try and get the game stopped because WBA were going forward. So a rule brought in to potentially save lives is used by teams like Preston to cheat .

Came back to em in spades tho when the Baggies player dived quicker than Tom Daley for the pen
latemodelchild
Fulham did it earlier this season. 2 of em went down clutching their heads while we were attacking.

That would stop the cheating barstewards.

It’s crept in to the kids games as well.....makes me angry when I see 12 year old kids feigning head injury The anger soon moves to them and their manager when i make them go off for at least 10 minutes for an “assessment” before allowing them back on.....even the parents go off on one ”Your son has had a head injury which is potentially very serious and should be stopped from playing football for at least 2 weeks and you are having a go at me for making him take 10 minutes out......either that or he’s a blatant cheat” tends to put them back in their box

They’ve perfected the craft, we have a lot to learn from them

Inspector Lestrade
Refs need to clamp down on time wasting etc, send players off first time it happens, soon cut it out.

Rhubarb n Custard
Shithousery should be fluckingwell outlawed. Sin bin for any player within 10 yards of the ref following any contentious issue ( with the exception of the captain ) Once the sin bin is over offenders would only be allowed back on the pitch once their testicles have been slowly waxed, knitting needles smeared in Firey Jack shuvved where the sun don't shine, chilli flakes in the eyes and a £10,000 fine which they have to pay in cash and set fire to in the centre circle at the end of the game. Think I need a pint.

Take Cardiff's clearly offside goal the other week, the players should have been surrounding the ref and linesman to get them to at least discuss it, but other than a half hearted protest from Dawson there was nothing. Compare that to when we scored against Rotherham a few years ago. Linesman gave the goal, ref gave the goal, but the Rotherham players surrounded the linesman protesting until he relented and disallowed it for offside. Ironically it was actually onside and we lost 1-0. We need to do more shithousery sometimes, others do it against us often enough.
