A lot of unhappy supporters on here and many branding them as moaners.

Well I have just watched that other Sheffield club on MOTD playing at our previous ground against MUFC.  They played well with a team which has cost much less than ours, still costs less than ours and is not as good as ours. But boy, are they getting the best out of them and being allowed nearly 33k in the stadium which the same SAG allows us nowhere near in spite of nearly 40k seats.

We still have every reason to be doing better but on many fronts, not just on the pitch, we are not. Thanks for all the investment but we are nowhere near where we should be. No wonder so many are so angry.

After 63 years active support, I am not ashamed to say I am really fed up. I have 2 1/2 years left on my season ticket but at the age of 71 I really am beginning to feel it will probably now take longer than I have years left.

So do you still brand me a moaner and not a real supporter?

Uniteds team is much better than ours mate.........

I'm fed up now..ive been fed up before, I'll be fed up again, comes with the territory.

The fact that Uniteds team is better than ours doesn't help. and to say it isn't is simply sticking your head in the sand.

Its a bit disconcerting to have the EFL's sword of damocles hanging over the club, SYP, SAG etc etc...but we have to get on with it.

Of course fans will moan...ALL fans will moan, sadly we have reason upon reason to moan.

All, as fans we can do ..is...Stop moaning for the 90 minutes it matter..Its an easy enough remit

I just want us to be a better run club. I admire those across the city for what they've done but their owners went to war with each other.

Now Leicester City is an example of how to run a club. Their fans get freebies every other match, free refreshments, occasional free away costs and great success on the pitch. We get sky high prices, a free raffle every other year and constant disappointment on the pitch.

Could i suggest (if you're not aware) that you search for a little "info" on Leicester, and then perhaps you wouldn't hold them up as the shining light you.

We are unhappy because we had a real chance under Chansiri’s ownership to build something here. We got close, but not close enough. And since then we’ve been pretty poor in my opinion. Given the money spent on wages and players, we are no better than we were under Stuart Gray the year before we started spending money. Ironically the spine of that Gray team are STILL here, (Westwood, Palmer, Lees, Hutch, Lee, Nuhiu). Can you believe that? Those players are still important players for us. That tells you how far we’ve progressed.

We expect more from these players, when truth be told they are nowhere near as good as we think. This is partly our fault because we’re desperate for promotion, got so close and can’t seem to accept the fact the current crop of players are mid table at best. The club has to take responsibility too. We charge high ticket prices, which in turn means fans demand more. We are paying top end prices for an average product at the moment. It’s been done to death on here but we signed some real crap on big wages and put players on long term healthy contracts, which has left us in a financial pickle. This could only get worse depending on the EFL’s punishment. In turn we can’t improve the squad significantly or freshen things up, we are waiting for players to go out of contract before we can rebuild. Frustrating.

And then of course whilst we’ve suffered a series of hangovers since the second play off defeat, United have completely leapfrogged us in such a short space of time. They are 6th in the Premier League. You get those Wednesdayites who’d rather save face that admit it’s hurting. But it definitely is. I had my first season ticket in 2002. I’ve never experienced Prem football and apart from 2 seasons, they’ve all been pretty disappointing. The promotions from League One were great individual days, but we still expect better. Mainly because older Wednesday fans have told me since I was young, we are a Premier League club, sleeping giant, belong at the top etc. With that drilled into me at an early age, yeah promotion in 2012 was fun but it’s a small achievement in terms of the supposed size of the club.

As a fanbase I think we expect too much, and I’m guilty of it. We hark back to the 90s and struggle to come to terms with the fact that was over 20 years ago.

I'd guess the following might have deflated a few people;

Before Cardiff match, could have gone joint top.

Next match, could have gone top three.

Next match, could be top 6. End up 9th.

etc etc

Cardiff, concede late equaliser.

Blackburn concede two late goals & lose.

Swansea, great fightback, late equaliser.

WBA late penalty, lose.

That was almost 3 wins & a good draw. 10 points. We got 2.

I believe Monk is having a good effect overall, but as a fan, that's a run of wasted chances.

They will implode it's in their dna

They seriously can't believe it's happened yet.

And they're pretty much only 2 bad results or an injury crisis from being in the relegation places

Have faith

That's going well for you.

It's the false hope AGAIN from the last 2 or 3 years that has increased the apathy.

Add the following and you get a pretty downbeat set of supporters...

Dem Blavges flying in the PL with some players that let's be honest, are championship players.

SAG

Umbongo

Steve Bruce Saga

The latest EFL business.

fizz SAG.  That shouldn't get you down, or worse, apathetic.  That should flipping enrage you.

Yes...I think what we all need is another thread dedicated to moaning.

I mean, it's not like there isn't enough of them already.

Appreciate how frustrating things are at the moment, but we really are good as a fanbase at piling on the misery.

We need a win on Tuesday. We ain't miles off at the moment, just letting ourselves down with silly mistakes.

Bet we don't get a win Tuesday !!

I feel more down about the club than I can remember, to be honest: in a way, more so than this time last year when we are clearly for a while the worst team in the league with confidence shot.

For me, though, it's largely the crowd restrictions. For years, I've been parking in the same spot and using the Lepp entrance to the north. Now I have to trail round to the behind the Kop. An extra 10 minutes perhaps, seldom pleasant. Leaving is even worse, because not only does it take longer, I have a really unpleasant walk against the main flow of pedestrians.

Added to this there is an isolated single seat next to me (used to be my son's when he had an ST) which I could usually get for a friend or family member; that's no longer possible.

Blame for this lies both with SAG and the club which, idiotically, failed to engage with the process over the summer. But it doesn't really matter where the blame lies. What matters is that it's made the match day experience pretty suboptimal. You then add to this that we aren't sure if we are watching a respectable if rather dull to watch upper mid table team or - more likely because of points deduction - a tough relegation battle, and altogether it ain't much fun.

Agree with the restrictions. For the first time in years, I've got spare seats at the side of me. I want to bring my dad more and also my daughter but then I have to move stands. I moved for the Fulham match because we bought 3 extra seats and I hated it. Couldn't wait to move back to my normal seat. I also hate seeing all the empty seats on the North when we're on TV. It used to look great when it was full. If ever there was a metaphor for how we're all feeling, a half empty kop and North are it.

Definitely need someone to score on a regular basis whether that's FF or we dip into the market (FFP allowing), the problem is finding that player.

So we need Winnall and Rhodes to be banging on Monks door demanding more playing time, starting in the U23s and proving themselves, also so that they resurrect their own careers and prove the critics wrong (me for one).  Both have shown they have the ability to contribute substantially to the squad and know where the net is.

Selling Joao and letting Hooper go without replacing them was a major blunder.  I do wonder if this was unfinished business by Bruce and he had someone lined up.

Keep expecting mate as this club certainly has the potential to realise your dreams, anything united can do we can improve on.
