31Dec1966
What a great gesture from Willie Henderson in memory of his daughter. He wasn't with us very long but what memories and what a character. Players like him and Terry Curran don't seem to exist anymore. Interacting with fans and playing with a smile. Great days. 5

Bearwood Owl1
I spoke to him today - he has agreed to an interview for my upcoming book on the Owls 73-76. A thoroughly good man. Inspirational what he has achieved in memory of his daughter. I'm going to donate a few quid as a thank you as well. He said his spell at Hillsborough was a 'special time' and loved how the fans took to him. 3

trotter
In a very average team, he was a real superstar. Wingers like him are few and far between. Genuinely used to leave full backs on their backsides. The stick he used to get from defenders was beyond belief. The modern day prima donnas would be out for months. Remember one game, against Sunderland I think, where he was carried off. Came back on 10 minutes later and scored the winner. It was worth the entry money just to watch him. Great memories. The Dukeries Owl
I remember him changing contact lenses during a game, it's often strange what comes back to you. A very skilful little player with a great enthusiasm for the game even though he was at the back end of his career here.
torryowl
I remember him best on a rainy afternoon at Huddersfield when he had the full back on toast time after time he'd turn him inside out and put over the cross …..unsurprisingly we still lost 1-0 .
