Wilson came out in the post match interview and hung him out to dry even before the FA had any chance to have a say on the incident. As others have said, absolute disgrace that the club didn't support him like Ferguson did with cantons. Ok has some flaws but was a bloody good footballer. But he is the most talented footballer I have seen in a Wednesday shirt, and created some of our most memorable moments of the last two decades. How desperate are we? Does he say why he’s at Hillsborough? Good distraction

One decent enough season with us and some decent goals in an otherwise unspectacular squad. not bothered about him at all.

Bothered enough to have a pop, that's the magic of Di Canio even fans who aren't bothered about him are bothered enough to have a pop. Am I bovvered? Worth the entrance fee alone to watch him play. Harry Redknapp must have been laughing his wee wee tail off when Desperate Dan flogged him for 1.5m. That just is not true. He isn't the first , and definitely won't be the last footballer to have a dodgy history. If Prince Andrew was decent with a ball at his feet would you shut your eyes to a transfer to S6? Sounds like you're a person of dubious moral integrity.

Tbf, I think Man U were in for him at one point but the move collapsed. Playing for Celtic in the 90s was of a much, much higher standard than it is now. Problem with Paolo was he's a headcase and a temperamental be11end. Pretty sure we weren't the first club he left in acrimonious circumstances. All the talent in the world, but there is a reason why he rarely got to showcase those talents at the highest level.
