Yes they are, a secret embargo and a few million quid from the Bin Ladens to avoid a winding up order.

Evidence lol

Don't believe for one minute DC wants to sell up.

No way of recouping the money he's wasted , and to sell at a huge loss is to admit he's massively failed,  would kill his ego.

His plan is to plough on regardless and get us into the Premier league. The problem is, and what's become obvious to all is, his plan is pretty awful, and he's pretty awful at delivering plans.

The result of this is a lottery. He could get us up eventually, or he he could take us out of business and down the divisions. Nobody knows.

He could also spit his dummy at any point.

At least it's not dull.

Yeah, but that was him throwing his toys out the pram.

I don't think for one moment that the club is actually for sale.

More's the pity.

Well he has, but just to a company that is part of his financial portfolio.

Which one?

I think it was because it happened to Birmingham. But we don't know what will happen with regards that if we are found guilty.

Bottom line, so why all the speculation of points deduction, fines, embargo's, player clear out etc.

Pointless OP for me.

Realistically he isn't going to sell the club unless he wants to write off probably £60-80m as we'd only fetch £30-40m. If he chose to do that, who would buy us... can't think of anybody with local links with that kind of money bearing in mind the new owner would probably have to fund £10m+ yearly losses even if we tighten our belt. So it would be another foreign guy and who's to say they'd be any better.

I kind of think that sometimes its the better the devil you know. Chansiri gambled on promotion in the first couple of years and it didn't happen. Over the last 18 months or so he hasn't got much wrong either in the transfer market or with appointing managers so maybe he's learnt. I know there's the stadium sale issue, but that's not through choice it's trying to cover mistakes he'd already made back in 2017.

We need to be careful about what we wish for as we aren't going to get promoted without a wealthy benefactor. We've no parachute payments and we don't have young players to sell for big money which is something the pigs, Norwich, Bristol or Brentford have done and that allows you to reinvest in the squad. We won't compete only signing frees and paying out the wages we'd be able to afford so we'd be back to being a lower half championship team with the odd trip to league one in there.

Great post,

It's semantics, but he knows his time is over at the club. I'm sure his plan was to try and get the club into the premiership in his first two seasons and then sell it. It nearly happened, but now it's gone sour and it's just a drain on him. He will sell if he gets a decent price.

Not only an expert in hindsight.

Can also predict the future.

So...DC has confided in you has he ? Lol  The thing that's a joke is your continual slagging off of DC as if you have any idea as how to run a football club. Wishful thinking is about right however, no one GAF about your ramblings. You know how stupid it is when @MrFarrell  calls it nonsense

You’ve got a lot of very strong opinions on this and people’s ability to have there own.....coming from someone who doesn’t seem to understand the difference between selling the club and selling the ground that’s some going fella

That's what he say's, in reality he would take a price at a lower value to get rid of the club. He bought it to move his finances around and perhaps sell it for a profit if we got to the premiership.

You seem to know a lot about what DC is thinking.

DC's money moves mostly seem to have been upwards rather than around, and mainly up a wall.

The Blades are i fine example of what can be achieved without tons of money.

They are a fine example of what can happen if you stumble on a once in a lifetime manager !

Before that they were an example on how to spend 6 years in the 3rd !
