First goal you ever saw at Hillsborough

Recommended Posts

Something to distract from all the EFL chat and take you back to happier times... a simple question:

Who scored the first goal you ever saw live at Hillsborough?

I'll start:

Roland Nilsson

Andy McCulloch

It wasn't the first goal of the game, but we got in late and missed Curran's opener. I can't remember the goal, just everybody jumping up.

I went to a cracking game, 5-3 loss against Everton. Andrei Kanchelskis hat trick, fully feel the meaning of his words tho, when my next door neighbor said "get used to this pain kid" - A true visionary

I couldn’t remember, but have just looked it up.  Ryan Jones v Everton in April 1994, we won 5-1.  I’d seen us away at all the London grounds and Wembley before I finally made it up to watch a home game.

It shows how good my memory is, I have absolutely no recollection as to who he is or that he ever played for Wednesday.

Pop in to Jubilee Sports Club on a weekend, you'll probably find him in there.
