Stupid Question???

And I think that's the difference between a Tory voter and a labour voter.

One gets on and challenges themselves to get their own  pay rise.

The other sits on their ar5e moaning and whining waiting for the government to force their employer to give them a payrise

Exactly the opposite is true in my eyes.

One believes you should stand on your own two feet.

The other believes you should stand on your own two feet, then bend down and help up the next person.

Got unemployment down to the lowest level since 1974, reduced the budget deficit down to less than 2% of GDP from over 10%, given us a referendum to get us out of the EU

Let me tweak that.

Got unemployment down to the lowest level since 1974, reduced the budget deficit down to less than 2% of GDP from over 10%....then took the biggest political gamble at our expense in living memory, just to save the Conservative Party.

Anyone that would vote Tory after the last nine years doesn't deserve to support Sheffield Wednesday.

WOW! And here we have a typical Corbyn supporter! Scary thoughts thinking what would happen if he got into power!

Concerning!

Fantastic. Thanks for bringing the topic of politics to owlstalk, where, if we weren't already sure (it was already pretty obvious) of who the degenerates are on here, we almost certainly are now.

Ironically I don't support Corbyn, don't like him at all. I'm not allowed to vote anyway so absolves me of voting for a party with no chance of getting in (LibDem) or a party with a leader I dislike (Labour).

Then why make such a silly remark in the first place.

I guess the above gives the reason.

And to think Corbyn wants to give the vote to 16 year olds...........now that IS scarey.

Anyone around here that can ask 'what exactly has happened in the last 9 years that's bad?' is clearly walking around with their head stuck up their arse. There was a time when Sheffielders would bleed themselves dry rather than vote Tory or God forbid Farage. When people don't want to pay taxes you end up with no funds for essential services and we have a fifth of Corporations in this country paying no Corporation tax whatsoever, it's a joke. Is it a good thing that the NHS has sold off our Blood Transfusion, gathering, storage to the Americans who have since sold it to the Chinese? Is it a good thing that Branson is able to sue the NHS for £840k because he didn't get the contract he bid for? Is it a good thing that the Germans own 34% of what was British Rail and we own just 1%.

Just like Brexit we have a large number of clueless losers who haven't a clue what they're voting for. We'll end up with a Johnson government, corrupt af and supported by the Nazi Farage. It's all downhill from here.

And you can't prove that any other party would have done better or worse in that time frame so it's a meaningless argument . Like has been said the choices are a Britain hating communist , an idiot and someone who wishes to ignore a vote . It's the worst choice for decades .

And your reason for saying Corbyn hates Britain I am left wing just like him but I am British/English and have tattoos to prove it. I am also a Republican and would never sing the national anthem for anyone.

My opinion on politics is I can't be arsed. I'll vote but I don't particularly care either way.

If I work hard I'll do well regardless who is in charge.

If I don't I'll be a bum regardless who is in charge.

Not a Big Society fan I take it

Because he sees every single organisation that hate us as having a point , he would on purpose drag us so far into the financial mire by buying back things that have been privatised, he would give power to unions who couldnt care less about britain as a whole just what they can get for nothing . I'd hardly say that would class him as having Britain's best interests at heart .  it would take decades to get over  . And just because you are left wing doesn't in the slightest mean you are anything like a random mp who happens to be left wing .

It would be helpful if you could make a list of everyone that in your opinion  doesn’t deserve to support Sheffield Wednesday....colour, race, gender, nationality, political persuasion, religious beliefs, sexuality, any other prejudices that you have... and I’ll see whether I fit in.

Gates are lower enough as it is.

I would love to take the services back that was privatised by Thatcher starting with the Railways then water gas electric ect. Coming back from Blackburn our train should have been 18 04 but was cancelled so we got back into Sheffield 22 45 nearly 5 hours to travel 63 miles disgusting .Traveling by train IN Europe is so much better and cheaper. Why do you think Unions don't care less about Britain I find that a interesting theory. As a former Branch Secretary in the TGWU we did care about our members and building a better Britain

I was being deliberately hyperbolic for the sake of provoking opinions both for and against (which it did).

Obviously the more supporters we have the better no matter where they're from.

The Tory party lack empathy, a lack of empathy is one of the most prevalent traits in sociopaths, but I'm sure some of them are nice people too...

I can't vote because (as I recently discovered when looking to register as an overseas voter) apparently if you have lived outside the UK for more than 15 years you're no longer eligible to vote, despite the fact I'm still a citizen, weird.

And the several billion pounds will come from where , tax everyone to the hilt , make britain an undesirable place for all business by squeezing them until they leave . And you really think there would be any train on time if it was bought back . They would spend most of the time stood still during yet another strike . Europeans have a different outlook to the british that's why , nothing to do with who owns it . Sorry but in my experience unions make more problems than they solve . The care about their power , their own jobs followed by the jobs of the union members and britain doesn't even figure at any level  . Do exactly as we demand or we are on strike and if britain crumbles I couldn't care less as our members have what we wanted . Just my opinion which I imagine is the polar opposite of yours .
