Didn’t beat the first man all day, reminded me of the old crab at his peak. If I have to watch him take another corner in my lifetime I’m going to gauge my eyes out. Rant over. Wonder why the first corner of the 2nd half was taken by Hutch! A clear admittance that the guy wasn't up to the job. Not sure what he brings to the table except enthusiasm. He did used to be good at them. In fact I distinctly remember someone either on here or on twitter saying last season that it was the only good thing that he did do. Normally most teams wingers unless they have a proper dead ball specialist who plays elsewhere take corners. Why don't Harris or reach take them, or Nando, he takes free kicks??. Joey did well last time out and after he messed up corners Monk took him off them, seems like the correct move to me? Monk is making do with players that aren't his remember. That he was considered the best choice to take them suggests a real lack of judgement coupled with a sense of incredulity that presumably other players were not even that good. He has one ok game last week and everyone thinks he’s the dogs bo**oks but he was back to his usual useless self today. How this guy gets anywhere near our first team I’ll never know, injuries or not I’d play one less in midfield and play an extra striker before I played him.
