There’s no point in changing the prices for one off games as nobody hears about it. Part timers if they have the impression it’s expensive just stop bothering to look at what prices are. Need to just have a set season ticket price for each stand, none of this phases business. Then make POTG 15% more expensive than that. Cut prices across the board, probably by 30% and see attendences rise 20%. The lost revenue wouldn’t be huge.. and then just reduce the playing budget so that overall losses are £13m a year or whatever Chansiri can lose. Its not like there isn’t excess in the playing budget given we’ve spent £16m on Rhodes fee and wages over 4 years and he doesn’t play. This season the squad seems less wasteful but it’s been bad in previous seasons. Deciding what you’re going to spend and then randomly trying to raise the revenue for it is a backward way of doing things. Most businesses work out what their sales can be at a given price, then use that to set the budget. We wouldnt get an extra 5-10k, catch yerself on. And maybe Chansiri should call to peoples houses to announce these games.
farlego
I guess it could never happen while sag and syp are on their mission to shut down Hillsborough but for most games with low away attendances they could make either upper or lower LL to home potg fans for say £20/£

Chance of going top of ythe league...Leeds sell out....1'500 less? Give over I put it right there at the bottom why people turned up against Reading. Another factor between the two, Reading was untelevised and 3pm and Leeds was on Sky, 12.30. You have inadvertently gone against yourself there though, as still with the prices that we had just shy of 30k went. Not bad to say people are being priced out. Games like yesterday people find the cash. Pay day Thursday helped too of course.

Lack of parking due to extra cars due to no trams. On TV. Weather forecast terrible. I wouldn't have gone yesterday either with all of those, had I not had a ST. However, when I come out I was glad I did because yesterday reminded me why I love footy, why I go every week, and why I love Wednesday. Don't doubt yer ardour for the club mate...its a simple discussion...... Though I do find your excuses for the poor attendance to be a decent argument for not charging top whack, because of these inhibitions
