Bit late to the party, but here are my thoughts from Tuesday's game:

Dawson - 8 - Match winning contribution with a frankly, unbelievable save. A good steady display with a moment of brilliance.

Palmer - 6 - Another clean sheet, and a decent display, if yet again, careless and lacking quality when in possession.

Iorfa - 8 - Colossal yet again.

Borner - 8 - The just usual ridiculously consistent display.

Fox - 8 - Man of the Match - Really solid performance, with some decent forays going forward. Pleased for the lad.

Hutchinson - 7 - Careless and lacklustre in possession at times, but screened well. Monk seems to have him playing more as an orthodox defensive midfielder, rather than the half back role he's tended to play under previous managers.

Bannan - 6 - Tough gig for him. Stoke's diamond congested the centre of the pitch, and so naturally, he was always going to struggle to dictate and impact the game.

Luongo - 7 - Followed on from his decent 1st half display at Cardiff. Got into some good advanced areas, ahead of Fletcher, which produced his goals. If Luongo can continue to regularly get goals, it'll add a threat we haven't had since Lee in the Carlos' years.

Harris - 7 - Couple of dangerous moments. Stood up a great cross in the 2nd half, and unfortunate not to score a bit later.

Reach - 7 - Much better game. Involved in a good amount of our good moments, and showed some nice touches and composure around the box.

Fletcher - 6 - Battled and scrapped away, without having a great deal to feed off. Key header won up against Batth, to lead to Luongo's goal.

Lee - 6 - Decent sub appearance. Looked to get into dangerous areas and produced a couple of really nice moments. Nice to have a bit of competition in that midfield area.

Forestieri - 6 - Not long on the pitch, but showed glimpses of what we've missed, and how he could give us something different in the weeks to come.

Overall...

Scrappy, hard working display with a few decent bits of quality. In a tight affair, we produced the better moments and looked the more composed side. Monk will want us to be better at creating good opportunities. Only two genuinely decent moments created, and that'll struggle to yield results on a sustainable basis.

That said, another fine defensive display. Restricted Stoke to one major chance, which was the result of a 2nd ball from a free kick. Against both Stoke and Cardiff, we haven't conceded a chance of real note from open play. Cut out the constant silly, naive fouls in and around the box, and regardless of our attacking effectiveness, we'll be there or thereabouts.

Whole different level of task tomorrow though. Leeds will dominate possession, and relentlessly ask us questions. We'll have to be maintain our defensive stinginess, but it'll be imperative we use the ball better when looking to counter Leeds' barrage of attacking players. If we don't, it'll be a long afternoon where we'll be like sitting ducks, waiting for the final whistle to come.
