Sitting watching that yesterday was the final straw in the series of Westwood errors this season.. This is not under 7's football on the local park pitch. These guys are being paid a lot on money to play Championship football. You just knew that Westwood would come flailing out and bring the man down. And that is just what happened. Wednesday need to sort out game management all over the pitch. Especially the closing stages. Players will drop bllx...comes with football. Every time one of ours does its..."Drop him"..Its bloody stupid! If Westwood hadn't this..If palmer hadn't that...? You can more or less extrapolate it to anywhere in the 2 minutes previous...If so and so hadn't shot..If whover hadn't held it up for a minute. It all detracts from a decent performance. No player should be unafraid of being dropped. I think overall Westwood offers more - offensively, which is quite something to say but he does often dictate tempo with a quick pass or throw. BUT.....I think right now we are carrying a few players who seem to think they deserve a shirt and could do with being motivated more with the threat of being dropped.
