Buxtongent
Just watched the controversial FK moment, on the highlights. but two things are , IMO, very, very clear. The first is that dawson would have to have been far more experienced than what he was over the whole incident. The first was in the wall formation.Under any circumstance,he was totally outsighted by the wall, The other ws the positioning and antics of the Cardiff player. The way i understand it, a player can be in an off-side position without being offside, IF HE IS NOT INTERFERING WITH PLAY. The player was stood in an off-side position, and even if stood still.may be deemed to be distracting the GK. To be jumping up and down, let alone waving his arms, must be construed as distracting th eKeeper, and therefore interferiong with play. To deem him otherwise, and to award a goal was an atrocious decision.
GMOwl72
Dawson Inexperience cost him and us but what were our more senior players doing? Dawson should have shouted to the ref that he was coming over for a word and a senior player should have stood in front of the ball. We simply let them get away with it when every pundit around says that it was blatant offside/interference.

toppOwl
Could a man of letters (there are a good few on here) write to the FA and ask how in any level of football that goal was allowed to stand and what they intend to do about it.
