But right now our biggest problem is making those players believe that themselves. And that comes down to Monk and his team proving to be good motivators as well and good coaches - same as Big Ron did 30 years ago. The game was crying out for someone to come on who could carry the ball and exploit the space in the Cardiff half. Murphy failed to do that, but I can understand why Monk had reservations about bring Forestieri on (who isn't the quickest, anyhow). And who else did we have on the bench to do that? Possibly Odubajo, but that's a stretch. Or in the rest of the squad - Rhodes? Winnall? Nope... Hopefully this can be addressed in Janaury, even if just a loan.
