Should be top of the league tonight, instead we will be mid- table tomoz night.

Because of crazy sub choices by monk.

We will be lucky to stay up if he carries on making such obvious errors ....

lol

Once I’ve relaxed a bit I may be more positive.

As it appears to me though, we’re a always the nearly men.

Won’t know whether it’s a point gained or two lost until end of season. Do question why Bannan was taken off though - daft substitution to make as after that nobody put a foot on the ball

I think with the squad we have we will finish between 8th and 10th.

The players aren’t quite good enough overall.

I think there’s much more to come, it will be tough but I think there’s a real chance of top 6

I've had a row with my brother about tonight

I actually think it was a good point

I know their equalizer was wrnk but cmon we were lucky not to lose at the end - should thank that brilliant Dawson save

Look at it this way, it's a point away from home & two points lost at home for a prospective play off rival. Still adds up to a three positive points perspective! Genius.

Cardiff are a bad side

We made them look good at the end

It doesn’t bode well for our chances this season

Maybe next season eh

I believe that about 7 or 8 of our starting 11 actually are good enough. But right now our biggest problem is making those players believe that themselves. And that comes down to Monk and his team proving to be good motivators as well and good coaches - same as Big Ron did 30 years ago.

How valuable this point will be all depends on how we get on in our next match.

We’re still a pacey striker short, amongst a couple others, of competing for a top six place

Agree with this. The game was crying out for someone to come on who could carry the ball and exploit the space in the Cardiff half. Murphy failed to do that, but I can understand why Monk had reservations about bring Forestieri on (who isn't the quickest, anyhow). And who else did we have on the bench to do that? Possibly Odubajo, but that's a stretch. Or in the rest of the squad - Rhodes? Winnall? Nope...

Hopefully this can be addressed in Janaury, even if just a loan.

Would have been a situation for Joao otherwise. But £7m for him was too good to turn down.
