People can say what they want about VAR

But if we’d had it at Cardiff we’d have got 3 points instead of just 1

Unless it’d have picked up palmer possibly giving away a penalty

second thoughts b0!!0cks to VAR

The problem with VAR is its only clear for handball and offside, seems annoyingly pointless for everything else.

I’m not even sure that we’d have won with it on Friday. Firstly would they have overturned the award of the freekick. Based on what we’ve been seeing with it, probably not.

Would they have ruled out the goal for offside. Probably not on the basis that the referee can see it and had deemed it not interfering with play (incorrectly). If they aren’t going to over turn the foul on Origi yesterday then they wouldn’t have overruled the ref for ours as they’d argue that the ref could see it

and that's what football officials should be all about, swings and roundabouts, but it's not.

if you're one of the 'unfashionables' away from home and 0-1 up, get ready for some right decisions going to the 'favourites' in the latter part of the second half.

look at when we were at manure, and 0-1 up, with only seconds to go, we ended up playing 'next goal winner', it was f***ing cheating, but it was man u and 'ole blue nose', so they ignored it 'cos they knew they'd be in for it if they didn't, and hadn't the boll*x to ref it fairly.

As Dermot said on ref watch, it should not have stood The thing for me is, it’s not like he missed it, he either doesn’t know the rules, which would be bad enough, or he’s working for some Far Eastern betting syndicate

Did he say the exact reason why it shouldn’t have stood.

I agree it shouldn’t have, just interested in what reason he gave

No they didn’t go into it in great detail, he just said, it shouldn’t have stood as the player should have been deemed offside, once he was interfering with play.

I'd rather have drawn 1-1 due to that penalty being given and the free kick being disallowed for offside, at least we wouldn't have been cheated out of the points.

It wouldn’t be so bad if they had to do post match interviews and answer for their decisions but they walk around with impunity. And if they are being assessed nothing ever seems to come of their poor performances. Power without accountability.

Nothing comes of it because there's a shortage of refs. Kids either aren't bothering to do the training course or ones that are are leaving before finishing due to threats of and actual physical and verbal abuse from players and parents and local F As doing bugger all to try and stop it.

Unfortunately not. He's due to ref Derby and Wigan on Wednesday night.

Can't see him down for a game this weekend, he's 4th official at QPR on Monday. Probably been given time off as a reward rather than punishment.

It doesn't get any better for us, ref for the Leeds game is... Tim Robinson.
