Your spot on mate. Their is an agenda at work here.

This is correct.

That is the ultimate goal to make us move. In reality this is just pathetic, and the fact that this was all done without the clubs knowledge shows its an agenda against us.

There has to be a way to fight this. I like many believe Chansiri needs to invest in the stadium and bring it up to spec but for our own purpose not because were told to. But I feer even if we were to be drastic and knock down the away end and rebuild this wouldn't be enough for SAG.

Pathetic.

I don't know the ins and out but if were able to tell them all to do one SYP and SAG and get our own security team in id do it. Regardless of the cost.

Taken as printed it means all of Penistone Road is closed from Parkside Road to Law Bros for the entirety of a match day, along with local roads such as

Vere Road etc. and that it constitutes a 'prohibition of driving' order. This would mean that those residents of those local roads would be prevented from driving

to/from their houses on match days.

The 'no waiting' restriction on Herries Road, Herries Road South, Rawson Spring Road could well mean a zero parking zone.

All of which will make S6 almost unvisitable by car on match days. Disasterous.

Thats utterly insane. Plus if i was a local resident, id be bloody furious, if i couldnt leave or go home, during a game.

Definitely suspect dark arts at work from the council.

Unfortunately, I think it's a safe bet to say that this all boils down to the Hillsborough disaster.

It's been a leadweight around the neck of SYP since and even more so since the enquiries. SAG, with a disproportionate amount of United fans sitting on the group have just jumped on the situation like a pack of cowardly Hyenas and compounded the issue.

They all want Hillsborough gone.

Flattened.

Consigned to history.

That's the ultimate goal behind all of this.

If anyone thinks this is for our and two coach fulls of away supporters own safety, then their heads must be made of bubble wrap.

Although I'm not against us moving to further the ambitions of the club (my favoured place would be the Neepsend idea someone posted ages back), we should fight this tooth and nail as this is almost Mafia style bullying and intimidation.

I can almost hear Marlon Brando: 'If they don't want to move, fine. Cut off their revenue. Make sure no-one can ever get near that business without a massive inconvenience. And I want all the locals to hate them for it. Get that place shut down, Luca.'

Some good points, but really don’t believe it’s down to the disaster. It started after syp fuzzed up the policing of the derby match and came in for massive criticism. So they do what they always do in such circumstances and deflect 5he blame on to some one else. Hillsboro disaster....Liverpool fans, orgreave....socialist workers party. Rotherham child abuse....social services. It’s just never their fault owt goes wrong is it? Perhaps if just for once they too’ a step back and said “ are we getting this right” they would make better decisions.

I know we are making a lot of noise on here but I think we need to get this into the public domain even more

How long before folk stop coming to games because of this - I promise you after driving 2 hours min to get to home games I don't want to be using public transport or find that parking out the way on Claywheels Lane is now not permitted.

So pretty much the entire surrounding area on lockdown during matchday. In fact, it goes beyond that - fom 10am to 10pm.

What on earth are local residents meant to do if they want to drive?

Utter madness.

The council's clear agenda laid absolutely bare.

SAG are wanting to shut our stadium down

It's untrue isn't it.

Even if your plan was to cause as much disruption as possible to our fans attending home games with no justification you might struggle to go to the lengths in this proposal.

Have they provided any explanation at all for the reasons behind this proposal?
