frastheowl Posted October 2, 2019 Share Posted October 2, 2019 It was just a flat game all round. The stadium is just a soulless bowl. There is no fans in it. And the game...well, the less said about that, the better. I agree that the Wednesday following were subdued compared to other games...but there really wasn't a lot to get excited about. Very rarely, do fans of any club, create an atmosphere without some sort of catalyst. And last night was absent of anything conducive to getting any sort of atmosphere going. It wasn't until the camera panned up at half time and you saw the Hull stands at 25% full you realised the mic volume had been cranked to 11.
