But the way John Pearson was ranting about him on commentary you'd think we'd Messi playing for us! But Pearson also rated Enoch Showumni, says it all. Maybe that's because they were great big useless lumps as well? John Pearson the ex-professional or you...? Yeah, real tough choice that one. 1
OWLERTON GHOST
He did what was asked of him I would imagine? What he's good at .. Disruption and presence in the opponents half with game changing lay offs . He's doing alright

Last 3 games he’s been close to motm in all of them but yes he’s crap isn’t he we have no one better at holding the ball upfront imo and long may his association with Wednesday continue
SiJ
He holds the ball up, links things up, makes a nuisance of himself and has a knack of chipping in with important goals. He's also bloody brilliant at time wasting. Yes, there are better players and it would be nice if he scored a few more...but the fact is several managers have chosen him and viewed him as an important member of the squad. Got a lot of time for the big man.

DuttyTeabags
Big man was awesome, his passing and general awareness on Sat was fantastic. He was very influential the season we got to PO final, played in 44 games and we came very close. I'd argue his finishing has improved since then. Hoping we keep same team for Hull other than Luongo for Hutch if out. Let's go for it!

upperwinngardensowl
Always liked him and have spent the last 4 years defending him to a season ticket holder at work who thinks he is crap and never ever gives him any credit. His many game changing sub appearances are completely invisible to him. Some people made their mind up a long time ago and ain’t changing.

Not to mention how dangerous it makes us when in need of a late goal.

Since Nuhiu arrived at the club 7 managers (including one multiple time caretaker) have collectively thought enough of him to keep renewing his contract and put him on the field a mere 243 times, despite the tons of money spent on much bigger names at his position. A quite amazing legacy for someone who is so "crap".

Guest Jack the Hat
On 28/09/2019 at 20:22, Sultan_Pepper said: Our goals per minute with him on the pitch has always been higher than without him and our goals conceded per minute when he's on the pitch is lower than without him. Our biggest weekness is those games when we can't keep the ball in the opposition half and our striker(s) is not connected to midfield. We all know them, the sluggish awful games where the ball keeps coming back. They happen far less when Nuhiu plays, always have. Our attempts to improve on him over the years have cost us 20+ million quid and arguably not improved on him. He always ends up back in the squad. Ironically I think we bought Fletcher to replace him and what do you know?!He ends up partnering his replacement and all the other strikers are on the bench. I’ve doubted him over the past 12 months but now we look predictable without him.
