danblakemore
Poor lad.. I’m sure we all want him to do well, but it’s got to be time up for him now, for his sake as well as ours.

BRADDO
Which club would take him in view of his ridiculous wages? I think we're stuck with him.

clud17
Yep, the only contribution he has made is to increase our problems with FFP. Offered less when he came on than a tired Winnall.

Guest wilyfox
It's sad. At this rate, he won't be remembered for his record at Blackburn & Huddersfield. He'll be mocked for losing his edge completely and becoming a total has-been at 27 - which is bizarre, because his game never involved pace. Didn't have it to lose. There's no obvious reason why he's become so toothless at his age. His fire's just gone out. Edited September 24, 2019 by wilyfox

I'm not a fan of Rhodes and have slated him on here before, but I don't see how he can get a thread slagging him off after tonight for doing nothing in his 25 minutes when Winnall was awful for over an hour. When Rhodes misses sitters it’s gets brushed under the carpet and we get told by his fan club we don’t play to his strengths. Nuhiu has a better scoring ratio. swfc-dan
Worked hard enough but he doesn't have that quick movement/anticipation anymore. He's never been blessed with pace, but he used to be quick enough to cause defenses problems. Now he's lost some and looks far more average. Difficult to explain, all seems to stem from his injury at Blackburn which he never recovered properly from. Such a damaging signing who is the main cause for all our financial trouble- he must know so I wonder if he feels even more pressure from that and can't cope with it. SallyCinnamon
Bloke had 20 minutes for crying out loud. We expect him to come on and bang in four goals and turn the game on its head? We created nothing for him. I actually thought he did ok when he came on. We were 2-0 down chasing the game against a Prem side. Yet we see another thread bashing the lad. What about Winnall who missed two golden chances? A free header and a one on one. If that was Rhodes he’d be getting so much grief.

It was woeful but expected. Passing into spaces expecting people to be there but tonight not.
