Borner 7 - kept Mitrovic quiet (no 2.) Palmer 6 - quiet for the most part Hutchinson 7 - some good interceptions Bannan 6 - some nice touches and good cross for Murphy, but careless on ball a few times Lee 6 - quiet, a few good runs Harris 7 - they doubled up on him for most of the match but kept going and touch of quality in 93rd minute Reach 6 - good header in first half, but didn't get involved much Fletcher 7 - isolated, but always battled and won some good flick ons Subs Murphy 7 - looked more threatening than Reach Winnall 6 - put himself about well Nuhiu 8 - great instinctive finish, gained us a point from nowhere Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

Westwood 6 should have done better with goal. Nothing else to do. Odu and Palmer 8 kept superb wingers VERY quiet Borner 8 key part of a strong defence today Iorfa 9 MoM outstanding. Great interceptions, tackles, pace. Commanding and eager. Reach 6.5 good first half, rotten ten minutes in second. Harris 8 our biggest threat and superb for our goal Lee 6 quiet especially second half Bannan 7 quiet by his high standards but some dangerous balls Hutch 7 kept them at bay but some silly tackles Fletcher 8 won everything yet again. Can't remember a time when he's been so quiet against us, so Palmer for me. Thought Iorfa and Borner were good, Moses didn't do as bad as people will say as he was often left 2 on 1 despite shouting for help. Going forward Harris and Fletcher worked hard and the subs helped. Guest Posted September 21, 2019 Share Posted September 21, 2019 Borner for me, solid as usual and not afraid to carry and pass the ball forward when needed. It was a difficult game for anyone to stand out for us in an attacking sense today as our tactics were to let them have the ball in their own half and pick them off on the break. It worked to an extent in the first half but the first goal was crucial and meant we had to change our approach. Fulham didn't really offer much in the 2nd half but we struggled to get any concerted pressure until we pressed them higher. Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

Fletcher was too isolated playing up top on his own, we looked too much like the away team today. Thank God the Fulham players weren't at their absolute best either or we'd have got hammered. Bannan being the captain is having a negative impact on the other players he is just shouting at them and taking away their confidence. Others scored similarly) what would our defenders have to do to score higher than 5 and 7, having just kept a £40million attack down to one proper chance all game? If you go on their forum they are bemoaning 71% possession but we had all the chances. They are saying their keeper kept them in it. Westwood by contrast had absolutely nothing to save. Once lees is back get big Dom there Iorfa 7 - not as rash as previous performances and his pace is a real asset Borner 8 - so calm and collected all game. Both CBs did a job on mitro Palmer 6 - not as attacking as usual but when up against someone like Knockheart understandable to stat defensive Hutchinson 7 - best CM today. Protected and worked hard Bannan 6 - did alright. Can see why he picks the ball up so deep, a number of times he pushed on and they didnt have a clue what to do Lee 6 - quiet, a few good runs Harris 7 - works so hard and absolutely lightning. Great asset Reach 6 - not involved a great deal Fletcher 7 - was getting sick of lack of support. Hard work throughout Subs Murphy 5 - not sure on him. Never seems to actually want the ball just quietly asks for it hoping they dont give it him. Couldve worked alot harder considering he only played a part. One moment where fletch won the ball and he just jogged up to support. Winnall 6 - put himself about well Nuhiu 8 - does a job so so well Overall we had the better chances (especially in 1st half) and they showed very little quality. They had loads of the ball but didnt do much. Be interested to see us start with 2 up top in a game. Beholder Posted September 21, 2019 Share Posted September 21, 2019 Struggled to give it to anyone but on reflection, Palmer was probably our most assured player. We were really bad in possession. Not sure what the answer is. Hutchinson was chopping at fresh air most of the game. Lee was anonymous. Bannan gets overrun so so easily. Reach was dire. Defence was decent. All the defenders a 7.
