Groundhopping Owl Posted September 21, 2019 Share Posted September 21, 2019 Very frustrating goal to concede, totally changes the half time mood because I thought the tactical approach was pretty sensible - let Fulham have the ball, they're prone to a lot of passing sideways so by reducing space in our own half we didn't give them any gaps to exploit. Just as they were getting frustrated, we committed too many men to an attack, presented them with an ocean of space out wide, we don't deal with the cross and they score. All of a sudden struggling to see how we'll get anything from the game, we'll have to come out and attack second half, which their midfield will relish as they'll have more room to operate in.
