meggoisgod
He was terrible again today The only position I could see him contributing in could be as a 2nd striker. He does have good pace

I think he’s been awful every game he’s played. constantly out of position. Dives into tackles. takes himself out of the game trying to win headers on the touch line. gives the ball away. beaten too easily when someone runs at him. dont like having a go but he needs either a rocket off the management or dropping. pressy
Yes very poor and looks a disinterested player at the moment and far from being a team player hes just going through the motions , some players dont realise how lucky they are to play football for a job. Looks shot of confidence the most worrying thing. The cross he put into the stands with ample time summed his display up. Can't imagine Monk was impressed and we were much better when he was replaced. Reach and Harris to play wide going forward with 2 strikers, and keep him as an impact sub. Dogger.....typical prem loan signing, not really bothered.
Guest ka58
I think Murphy will be ok for us. he was poor today but has shown bits of real quality - particularly on his debut. he got hooked and dropped by bullen a couple of times so might have lost a bit of rhythm but I think we should persevere. OWLERTON GHOST
I think the "bomb up the backside" moment is looming for this young chappie ... Pulls a stunt like he did today in our back yard and his àrse is going to smart thats for sure ...
WAWAWUTO17
If he could just do the simple things like pass the ball 5 yards to the player next to him instead of trying to dribble past 3, then we might have a decent player. The rest of the team play like a team. Murphy plays like that one big kid at school who always used to dribble it past everyone and not pass. gurujuan
Funny how all these Steve Bruce inspired signings were the bees knees when we signed them Already, Iorfa, Odubajo and now Murphy, have come for stick. The truth is, all will have a part to play this season
Bleeder
4 hours ago, Bleeder said: Odubajo needs alot of support. Despite not being the strongest in the tackle (!) Reach works very hard and will always get back to cover, (as he did today when brought back into midfield.) Harris nowhere nearly as industrious. If Odubajo plays, Reach plays in front of him imo. Ooops, meant Murphy, Harris does put a shift in...
Owls-Fan
We’ve been needing a winger like Harris since after Carlos’ first season. As for Murphy I’d use him as an option off the bench. I’d be playing something like the below team tho there’s arguments for a strike partner for Fletch and Iorfa replacing Odubajo Westwood Odubajo Lees Borner Palmer Hutchinson Reach Lee Bannan Harris Fletcher Edited September 15, 2019 by Owls-Fan
Owls2k
I'm unsure as to whether he's a confidence player or an arrogant player, I can't put my finger on it, he's not doing great at the minute and isn't doing the basics. That said one of the few times he was positive today he should have had a penalty, the commentator was talking pure gonads. Reach is wasted in that dithery second striker role, was so pleased Monk did the right thing in the end and it wasn't surprising how strongly we finished. cowl
He was poor today and not for the first time. I think his deliveries into the box have shown a lot of promise in other games, but today even they were poor. I'd much rather see Reach play out wide. HOOTIE AND THE SHIT TU
You can tell the boy has quality, but he's lacking in application, it could be a confidence thing There's a player in there, he's just shown small glimpses, but was poor today I wouldn't write him off yet, but he needs to step up If anyone can get a performance out of him, it's Monk Just a bloke, who used up all his luck in one go when he met his wife. Reach can be poor at times so Murphy will get more chances to prove himself. He looked especially bad today but I think he's better than that. Reach will never EVER be as bad as Murphy was today. If I were Reach I would take your post as a massive insult.
