Guest wilyfox
Pleased for him. He's had a lousy time of it here. Let's hope that kicks him on.
Mr. Chow
feel so happy for him scoring today and may it continue/ Problem is if we continue to play with one striker I cant see him starting. Taking Murphy off shoving reach right and playing 2 up top answered a lot of questions too. Reach is a winger not a centre mid
S72 Owl
Looked awful and sluggish against Luton but was excellent today. Some great link up play with Fletcher, and a fantastic header for the goal.
Bathgate
Do people realise reach wasn't playing CM today. He's playing just off fletcher. Almost as a second striker

Didn't think he did bad. But he was better when Murphy came off mainly because Murphy did next to nothing on the wing

PortlandOwl
Like the idea of bringing an extra striker on, when most managers would be looking to shore things up, when winning 1-0 away from home.
Luke
Changed the teams performance when he came on We looked clueless til we went two upfront
Beholder
Chuffed for him He could be what we've been missing. Fresh start for him and he has bought himself another shot, maybe start him next game. That 442 looked ok second half.
britpunk77
Did Well this afternoon, wasn’t on for long and looked to be blowing a bit. Hope the goal boosts his confidence and he kicks on.
gazzamk2
Winnall did well for Derby before his injury, confidence is a huge thing for footballers, especially so strikers. GM speaks about the importance of playing with confidence, let's hope he can get Sam playing to his full potential and we'll see the best of him. There is a space to fill now João has gone, fingers crossed he takes the opportunity
fpowl
Sam winnall scoring whilst playing in a front two shouldn’t be a shock to any of us I’m chuffed for him he’s always had passion and a desire to do well 442 could work for us

Instincts are there but the body can't react fast enough. Probably needs more game time to get proper fitness. Apart from the goal I thought he was like a fish out of water. I wish him well, if he can get back to what he was he can provide the cutting edge we need. A goal today can't do his confidence any harm. Think you must have watched a different game to me mate. 2nd half when we were attacking towards our end, he was hugely influential. Not only the goal but the one two's, his hustling & bustling, general play caused them massive problems. As for his body not reacting fast enough??? Seemed to react 'fast enough' for the glancing gem of a header.

Is there some unwritten rule that a win isn't complete without some morons trying to find some negatives or scapegoats? Didn't hear a single negative behind the goal today, everyone was buzzing. Come on here & same old, same old bull sh*t.
TrickyTrev
He’s not had a fair crack of the whip since he came here. I’d really like to see him given a run of games alongside Fletcher to see how they do as a partnership, with Reach down one side and Harris down the other I think that pair will score goals.

Not surprising, don’t think he’s played a full game at this level for well over a year. Needs games now to get fully up to speed but will have to keep scoring to make the match day squad.
