Huddersfield - V - Wednesday OMDT

I hope Monk isn't impressed with what he's seeing here. Hudds are shocking and for the last 20 minutes we've made them look good.

Not entirely true. He's providing good cover in front of RB and defending well, something he's been called on to do rather a lot.

Could do with showing a bit of composure going forward, but would be pretty daft taking him off.

Cant say he has. Let that left back beyond him many times, not much help to RB.

Offensively, offered little and attacks consistently break down when he receives the ball. Likewise at Millwall and Preston. Needs taking off.

Mmmm. Would love Sam to have a job as a coach at s6 but I’m not sure these days that he offers enough in terms of mobility and positivity to get us further up the pitch - we are effectively stuck too near our own goil. We need the midfield to be able to carry it forrud.

Righty oh

You think he's done well this season?

Lazier than Onomah, and that is saying something.

Odubajo playing well today. Murphy needs to offer more and I’m still unsure on Reach playing off the striker. All in all great first half

There is zero willingness to take a chance.

Sideways, sideways, sideways, Westwood hoofs it.

Which is even more baffling considering the lovely football that led up to our goal

Well other than the goal. That was pretty poor. Fans seem quiet but I'm not surprised to be honest. Not much to watch. Hopefully monk can sort them out.

Lets hope it improves second half.

Good job Huddersfield are pants.

It's so predictable.

I am pulling my hair out when Westwood just boots it upfield in the vain hope Fletcher wins it.

Do they actually do any training?

Even my dog is yawning.

Fletcher as battering ram is ok, but there needs to be follow up which thus far is lacking.

Yep.

Nice to be winning, but we could send an insomniac to sleep.

Best piece of football produced by us without question. And yet from that point onwards we've offered nothing going forward.

Lee would offer more.

Yep and we were against QPR as well, we sat too deep on that occasion as we are today

Well that obviously means we’re gonna lose as well because every game has to follow the same script or society would disintegrate

Think monk needs to send out a message here we have no midfield, 6 defenders 2 wingers and 2 up front who are isolated. Same old same old. Got to change that centre midfield into something that can move or at least pass forward.

I know Reach hasn't looked great this season, but he's lost when he's not on one of the flanks.

Murphy has pace and that's it... a far better option from the bench. Reach out wide for Murphy + anyone else to fill the gap would be preferable... imo...
