Bulgaria 3,471 Posted September 6 (edited) He might do well, let's hope so, but there is no denying that his appointment is completely underwhelming. Even when we appointed Jos there was a smattering of excitement. He needs to hit the ground running. Edited September 6 by Bulgaria

Yellowbelly 727 Posted September 6 I get that some people are disappointed it’s Garry Monk. I mean, we were promised Pulis.....

new zealand owl 464 Posted September 6 6/10- capable manager without doubt but has never experienced how to shape a squad over the course of time The football will be good. People seem to forget that but the concern is obviously longevity.

jamiejohn 463 Posted September 6 I can’t say I’m doing cartwheels neither am I peed off . He’s a decent manager who could be a success or could be another one who just does a passable job with no long term . I was all for houghton originally but after he declined only cowley had me excited and looking forward to long term planning and a winning culture. Saying all that Garry will get my full backing and patience, good luck Garry wawaw

HOOTIE AND THE SHIT TU 26,189 Posted September 8 (edited) My whelm started to wither when we lost Bruce It withered further after the struggle to beat ordinary Barnsley and Luton teams My whelm disappeared after QPR But it’s fully back with the appointment of Monk I think he will prove to be a better manager than Bruce He’s the one I wanted after Hughton He’s a good man manager, plays decent football, and he doesn’t suffer fools He’s got some decent contacts too, including the current Arsenal manager Edited September 8 by HOOTIE AND THE SHIT TU
