Did they say Bullen was assistant coach or assistant manager? Very unusual for a properly backed new manager not to immediately bring in their own staff.

Pep Clotet was assistant manager at Brum and was made permanent when Monk left, not a surprise he hasn't joined him.

Yeah, because a journalist is going to ask about a rumoured manager at a new manages press conference aren't they?

Why not? They’re independent media not the club’s PR company. It’s a big story if two days ago we were after other managers.

Shakespeare as No 2?

Not according to the Yorkshire Post.

The former Leeds United and Middlesbrough manager, 40, has been out of work since being dismissed by Birmingham City in the summer when he was shown the door after a row with the bard over the club's transfer strategy.

Clearly, we have been snubbed by any decent manager and Monk must be a pariah in football so cheap and willing. Last chance.

And Featherstone v Paxo will be interesting for agents' bunce / fans' money.

Ethically, the only way lower now for us is accepting dosh from Bin Laden mob.

Ahh , ok. Cole Bros. will now be happy as laptop sales will now increase.

To be fair, Swansea played a great game under Monk but Brum wanted - in addition to their agent allegations -  attacking , possession based footy from him so that's a worry.

But is our club am really worried about. Ominous.
