Lincowl
Did they say Bullen was assistant coach or assistant manager? Very unusual for a properly backed new manager not to immediately bring in their own staff.
Burnsie
Did anyone ask if he was from the Clough camp?

It's totally down to Monk then to provide the fresh ideas. Total joke. Totally agree - fresh team and eyes needed. camffiti
History suggests Van Monken doesn't stay anywhere for long, but in the spirit of 'Gi'ing Chance FFS' ...
ThisCityIsOurs88
Why keep Bullen? Nice bloke and all but he’s been here far too long under too many failed regimes. I don’t really get the love in with him.
WalthamOwl
DC hardly sounds excited about Monk.
HIGHERSTATE
If were not up after the first 44 minutes against Fulham i'm going to boo as loud as I can so everyone on the kop can hear me...and dam anyone who doesn't like it. And then stomp off for an over expensive warm beer Only Morrissey can flounce better

Pep Clotet was assistant manager at Brum and was made permanent when Monk left, not a surprise he hasn't joined him.

Why not? They’re independent media not the club’s PR company. It’s a big story if two days ago we were after other managers.
Holmowl
Shakespeare as No 2? Not according to the Yorkshire Post. The former Leeds United and Middlesbrough manager, 40, has been out of work since being dismissed by Birmingham City in the summer when he was shown the door after a row with the bard over the club's transfer strategy.
0114
My only real complaint is that he hasn’t brought staff with him. I assume that may be a bit complicated right now with them being at Birmingham. But won’t be shocked if one day Clotet and Beattie end up at Hillsborough too. WalthamOwl
Surely Bullen won’t be assistant manager? Monk will want his own people?

To be fair, Swansea played a great game under Monk but Brum wanted - in addition to their agent allegations - attacking , possession based footy from him so that's a worry. But is our club am really worried about. Ominous.
