Do you think Chansiri is ready for selling up?

The way business is being conducted it'd be a possibility.

I suppose I should wait to see whats said about the length of contract... if it is monk and done by dodgty agents, it'll be a 20 year contract with options to inherit the club at the end.

PL recency / parachutes means jack squat.

So having the guaranteed income for years of the parachute payments, well in excess of anything  long term championship clubs can generate,  has NO baring on how the league table plays out!!!!!

Yeah, worse then us, hence also managerless, 6 games gone and money to burn in Jan' if needed!, wouldn't right them off just yet!!!

Not so sure they have money to burn, some questions being asked about where the money has gone

Maybe he's a stop gap for this season and we get the Cowleys in the summer. Was watching one of their interviews and they said they always like to put their preparations in place during the summer.

They've got years of huge parachute payments coming in, they're minted for next few seasons

To be fair, it did seem a bit of a stretch that they'd turn down udders, with a squad just out of prem and years of parachute payments giving them a very competitive budget, to say yes to us with an aging championship squad and a just out of yet another embargo budget. Didn't seem to logical to me!??

Maybe, but Huddersfield look to have bigger problems that can’t just be solved with money at the moment.

A lot of people turning their nose up at Monk

Then in the next sentence asking what brand of football he plays

You couldn't make it up

Gary Monk is a bloody good manager, his teams play decent football

I am delighted

You're assuming the ownership will plow that back in and not take it as recompense for money's spent/lost.

If it is Monk then lets give him a chance. From all accounts has had teams playing well with decent football. Everyone wanted the Cowleys but who's to say they could have taken the step up to managing us and our players.

At least Monk has had some big jobs in this league.
