EFL commission independent ground valuation?

Recommended Posts

Sorry to step off my Cowley cloud, but Ram's mate sent me this. Can you backdate a loophole? Seems to be from The Time's.  I don't know if it's worth worrying about or not? Surely DC's finance and legal bods crawled all over the sale.

Apols I can't embed tweets or if it's been done before?

I'll lose my poo at everyone and everything if this comes back to bite us. Including Chansiri, the EFL and the dustbin man.

If it doesn't then happy days.

I have secret ,ancient documents in my shed that prove there is gold under the stadium , lots of it, so the ground is definitely worth what DC paid himself for it.

The fact is that the stadium is worth whatever someone is prepared to pay for it.

And facts are EFL will say it’s worth whatever there tin pot independent firm says it is

Was always going to come back and bite us in the arse. Should never have gotten to having to sell the ground in the first place. No chance Cowleys would come here when things like this are going on. They would be crazy too.

And we all know the EFL like to fizz is over whenever they get that chance.

My many many Leeds United supporting friends are already sticking the knife in with this one.

In my totally uniformed view, that was my worry. The EFL might be a bit touchy after the Bury and Bolton thing, not like they avoided all criticism. Seem like the sort of over reaction I would expect from such a poo organisation that's barely fit for purpose.

And if their valuation is lower there has been a fall in value since DC bought it off himself! The auditors must have been all over this yet we know that the EFL likes to fly in the face of officialdom, as they did with FF.

You must be at a low ebb if you can't throw that ridiculous badge that they were trying to float straight back at them..

Not when you are selling the asset to yourself. It has to be valued by an accredited third party to satisfy HMRC.

Which the auditors would also have wanted to see before signing the accounts off.
