PLLLEEEEEEEEEEEEEZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZ NOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!!!!

Can't we just get someone in who likes to see their team play with flair.

FLAIR!!!!!!!, FFS fliar gets you relegated.

Fitness, organisation, knowing what your job in the team is, and discipline get you promoted.

Did flair get Norwich or Dem Blunts promoted automatically NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!.

Owls fans - or a section of them - never seem to want a manager who'll get us up.

Not unless he can do it playing scintillating football along the way.

Warnock? "Wi don't want 'im!"

Bruce? "Over t' 'ill, mate!"

Pulis? "F*ck off!"

Such managers are deemed "dinosaurs", over the hump, or not "progressive" enough.

Be it manager or player, the emphasis always must be on youth.

Experience can go hang; we'd rather have someone who's learning his trade, someone who'll use us to practise on.

Then, mysteriously, Colin got Cardiff up.

Bruce, another dinosaur according to some, got a team looking over its shoulder to within an ace of the playoffs.

Ours in fact.

We need to be going for promotion, and how we do it doesn't matter.

Our finances dictate that.

Where we are, Pulis represents the best chance we're likely to have.

How many promotions does he have on his managerial cv.

Any Wednesdayites who think we are better than Tony pulis are deluded , we need a manager who can build this club up, coaching set up is poor , training ground is outdated, recruitment team is non existent.. pulis is a experienced manager who could help us move forward ... I'm sorry all this rubbish about crowley is baffling . Yes he's got potential , but look what Wednesday did to Jewell and Wilson.. chewed them up and spat them out ,its too big a job for a manager with potential ..

Do you want this man at our club?

the question should be why it shouldn't be pullis . 48 goals in 46 games at boro last season , 11 men behind the ball at home he would make Carlos's negative tactics look like man city . he is ok if you want a manager to try to get you 4th bottom in premier league that's it. the atmosphere will turn toxic within 2 games if he is ever in charge .he is prehistoric yesterdays man.

Or Stoke & West Brom.

Look where they are now, bet their fans are glad that a WINNER like Pulis, is not their manager now.

My old boss was a West From fan, he'd been a season ticket holder for 35 years, in the last season under Pulis he didn't renew he's ticket as he was fed up of the utter bilge he served up.  I've spoken to him since and he says he much prefers it in the Championship, playing decent football week in week out.  The Premier League isn't the promised land that Sky will have you believe.

Just not bothered...

Well yeah, they played really good football actually.  Not just 10 monsters booting it long all afternoon.  And United played a good brand of football too.

You've clearly not seen enough of Pulis' style if you'd be happy to watch it every week.

Having read your argument, I tend to agree we need someone experienced but it has to be someone who can deal/work with our current squad.  My choice would be Pearson, mcarthy or perhaps Holloway.  Atleast with the first two, the players wouldn't get to hide behind the manager as they tend to say it as they see it.  Both are 'big' enough not to be intimidated by the job/crowd.

Is this the same Tony Pulis that completely destroyed West Bromwich Albion?

You know, took a side from top 10 to relegation, producing some fabulous performances such as going 5-3-2 away against 10 men Huddersfield, yes that's right 10 men

If there are Wednesday fans on here that are wanting Pulis, yet called for Carlos to be sacked because of his football - well enjoy what's coming to you.

I mean go and have a watch of their play off attempt against Aston Villa. You think our spineless performance was bad against Huddersfield - just take a look at that one then. Here we go, one nil down after the first leg so next up, second leg at Villa Park. Pulis lines up with one striker on the pitch and the Boro have zero shots on target. They need to score at least one to take it to extra time and two to go through. If you are happy with that sort of approach to a play off match, well, can't really say anything more.

No wonder why Boro fans were so angry after that game

Yup appointing him would be the closest thing to crazy we have ever been.
