Full backs

Full backs were not the problem . Too many invisible midfield players and 1 up top is not the answer.

They were pretty invisible for their goals...and contributed zero going forward all game.

I’d say that’s generous to say they were not the problem. They were definitely part of it

Part of it may be , but lets have ago at the chosen ones instead of the usual suspects, Reach Bannan Hutch what was their contribution

Those 3 were absolute garbage.

Time for Luongo and Lee in cm.

Ok I know we're all upset and disappointed, but there's no need to go off script. Fox and Palmer are the best fullbacks in the division and no one has ever put on a Wednesday shirt that could touch Bannan and Hutch in midfield. Repeat it to yourselves it'll calm you down.

Probably we actually lost because Kieran Lee didn't start.

All our full backs are dreadful and a weak link week in week out

However our midfield today was also pathetic, Bannan and hutch need dropping, weak as wee wee

They were lazy, far too deep and stood 10 yards off their players, allowing QPR total freedom to play in our half and create danger. It was a matter of time before they would score.  so much for Bullen’s promise that we would defend from the front, play with tempo and have attacking intent. This result was so predictable pretty much after 10 minutes and our penalty just papered over the cracks. We had absolutely no answers whatsoever.

You obviously never saw Sheridan, Wilson and Palmer. If you did you’re talking kak. In fact you’re talking kak

Same old problem, time and again, we blame the strikers for not scoring enough, or have a go at the fullbacks as they're easy targets.

We've been having this problem now though for 2/3 seasons now.

To win the right to control possession and control the game you need to win the midfield battle.

Once you do this you can expand your attacking options all over the pitch.

Bannan & Reach are just physically up to a cm dogfight, weak in the tackle, they get knocked off the ball and just don't have that winners attitude in there.

Everyone slated joey for not being able to do the work of 3 midfielders on his own last season.

Due to reach and bazza's inability to defend in there the defencive mid/ball winner becomes like king canute, isolated and trying to stem the tide single handedly.

Now its beginning to happen to hutch.

We were better with Lee in there, but bazza & reach really do struggle.
