He also appears to have had a long term plan for Lincoln. Let's hope he brings those attributes to us. Get them in before somebody else does . We definitely need someone with a long term plan and philosophy both on and off the pitch. They certainly fit the bill. We need rising up and coming managers as opposed to has been failures who live off the back of past successes and reputation. Mystic Neg Posted September 4, 2019 Share Posted September 4, 2019 Not sure if anyone has mentioned this but he will have also witnessed / even scouted many players in the lower leagues that he might feel can step up. Not just their record, promotions and potential but their ability to improve infrastructure and to develop an ethos long term. This is the exact type of appointment we need, bearing in mind the rebuild work Bruce had started, we now need someone forward thinking to progress that work further. I'd be ecstatic if we got the Cowley's or someone similar on the rise, as it would be a sign that we're targeting what we need and learning that we need to be more long term forward thinking and to do things smarter. 2 Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
