Mystic Neg
This would be a great appointment. They are not a one hit wonder and this is the time to get them. Wait for Lincoln to go up again and we will have to wait years to find another manager in lower leagues with same potential. Out of all the people we've been linked with this is hands down the most dynamic and energising appointment for the fans and our squad.

Not that I don't think we can match or better that offer.

Milan fans weren't reight happy when they were chasing Sacchi, a Serie C1 manager , but they soon changed their minds dint they after a league, cup and two European cups ! 1 Just a bloke. Being dragged along in a world that moves too quick for it's own good.

If our players can't buy into the Cowley's energy and enthusiasm for success then they should be shipped out.

I think it would be smart and forward thinking to go for someone on the rise. It might give us a fresh impetus for this season but long term for the future it will be the smartest thing to do. Because we still need a lot of rebuilding, we need a identity and it will take time. Get them in Chansiri. Totally agree. The Cowleys are ambitious and, to date, successful. If they are given the time to apply their methods and build a team this could be appointment we’ve been hoping for. If the choice is between an up & coming manager or a guy who never quite made it & has a cv containing mostly near misses then I’m all for the guy looking to develop his reputation. It's also a massive gamble, they would be stepping up to a different level, the pressure of Hillsborough and its expectations.

Mystic Neg
All succesful managers command the respect of the dressing room. You can tell which teams have this by looking at the teams players ability on paper versus their league position. Look at Huddersfield, Blunts, Norwich & Cardiff as recent examples getting promotion. Not a gamble for us because nothing else has worked. Maybe a gamble for them but if they take it will show they back themselves and hopefully that confidence will rub off on the players. Sometimes you can tell what a managers like simply when he speaks and these guys back themselves in spades
