Experienced championship manager please DC

Recommended Posts

Guess it depends on how good you think this squad is - we’re decent enough... but not enough to smash through everyone like some think.

Experienced championship manager .....Experienced at what ,getting the sack ......who's available?....monk, pullis, karanka, ,rowett,Holloway, nice nigel,Coleman.....pretty uninspiring  bunch.

Sensible post.

Monk and rowett are 2 managers that were given a chance and then failed when more was asked of them.

Maybe bullen will go that way.

But I'd rather give him the chance to shine than bring in someone from the merry go round managers cycle

Don’t really care how experienced they are in the championship.  If the Cowley brothers were appointed tomorrow I’d be over the friggin moon.

We need a manager who is highly rated or has the required potential to be good. I’ve not seen that from Bullen so far

Moyes.

Bullen's trouble is he is in limbo. A manager has to sometimes make hard decisions and upset players. He could do it now but if he does have to step back then it will make his old job harder.

He either get's the given the job or we appoint someone else but the decision has to be made.

Imo Bullen will get the job. Personally think it will be a massive mistake, but when he does get the job we need to bring in an experienced coach to work alongside him.

This definitely, about the coach.

Awaits the response of Stuart Gray

We need a manager the players give 110% for. Imo Bullen is to much of a mate with the players.

Isn't a player more likely to give 110% for a mate than an unknown manager ?

Look at our own working lives. How often have we bust a gut to help a workmate but then slacked off when a manager demands more ?

Why is nobody suggesting Moyes (except me)?

Fair enough you don’t want him to get the job - but what are your reasons?

He’s too friendly with the players and hasn’t won every game (?)

Care to name him .....I'm sure there's experienced coaches out there who are looking for a job but if they are any good why are they out of work .

What id really like is a manager with a100% win record.

It was Bullen we'd still want him out because Fox isn't scoring bicycle kicks from the centre circle.

Sometimes you are too friendly with those who you work with. Then when put in charge of them it can cause problems as you have to drop them and can turn sour very quickly. Ron Atkinson never got close to players Ritchie barker was go between .ron kept a distance from players .

You really think the last 3 performances have shown the players giving 110% for Bullen?
