Centre halfs struggle with him sometimes, imagine him in central midfield attracting the central defenders - wouldn't half make space for the likes of Winall. He is steady, doesn't let you down and could be a real star. I know Boner and Lees have a good partnership but throwing Thorniley into the odd league game isn't going to hurt our chances of winning on any given day and it will give him much needed experience.
