RUMBELOWS91
Time for a start? None of the midfield 3 performed on Saturday. 2
The Night-Owl
Yep, I'd give him a go. He might be just what we need in midfield to inject some energy and drive in there. I reckon, he'll become an important player for us, once he gets a first start and a run of games.
OWLERTON GHOST
When he's come on he's looked almost "Bulldozeresque" and looked like getting a goal with a first touch... I'm looking forward to seeing him let loose for longer .. I sense a "John Harkes type hero" in this guy ..
daleblue
Did well and nearly scored, give him a go against Rotherhan, drop Murphy and Moses, bring in Iorfa,
Sticky belly
Agree he should be given a go. Totally different to what we have. He looks strong and brave like most midfield ball winners but he looks quick too. If we persist with 433 then we need more steel and legs in the middle and he fits the bill from what I have seen... theowlsman
I’ve been calling for him to start from game 1 by the way. He’s combative and scores goals. Looking like another signing we’ve brought in where we ask “Why did we buy him if we’re not going to use him?”
StudentOwl
Let's not forget, he didn't really have a proper pre-season and he's only been here a couple of weeks. Last thing we want to do is put our £1m man in too quick only for him to do his hamstring and be out until after the international break.

Groundhopping Owl
Got to start for me - if we’re worried about his fitness we can take him off after 60/70 minutes. After a good start our midfield is starting to get worked out again, we need to offer a different look.

If I recall correctly he was omitted from QPR training camp. Think they knew he wanted out and as last year in contract they thought it best to cash in and reinvest. So he was probably slightly sidelined because of that. EDIT: Without question it's time he starts IMO Edited August 26, 2019 by StudentOwl

mrrodge
Would hope to see him start and get an hour in before playing his old club on Saturday. Think there is always that extra bit of motivation when playing your old club. Or is that just for former Wednesday players?

It could be they are getting him fit and giving him the last few minutes . With the Rotherham match this week they should put him on from the start and let him play until he starts blowing. There's not much risk. it's a nothing game and we will probably play the B team anyway. If he gets plenty of minutes under his belt he might be ready to get more time in league games. He does look like a player.
