33
Moses might not have been in command of his thoughts or feet today but we are far too easily bullied and particularly so in midfield and defence. Michael Hector would've given us considerably more presence and a proper leader on the pitch. Imagine Big Hec and Börner at the back.
areNOTwhatTHEYseem
All well and good, but given the fact that we've only just come out of an embargo and will be touch and go with P&S rules again next summer, paying £5m for a centre back is a luxury we simply couldn't afford. lanzaroteowl
Moses is dogshit. Getting Hector would not have changed this fact.
Holmowl
How does Hector stop his full-back climbing all over his opponent or making an awful tackle? Preston got nothing apart from those two gift-wrapped offerings.
33
Leadership is a big problem and sorry but Lees is too easily bullied.
33
Maybe the opening line about Moses today and the comment relating to general leadership and too easily bullied passed some of you by?

The fact that Moses would have given those penalties away regardless of who we have or don't have to shout at him seems to have passed you by. If we had £5M to spend then there are other areas of the pitch that need to be improved upon. Borner and Lees have been fine so far and of the 4 goals we have conceded in 5 games 3 have come directly from individual errors that would not have been prevented by 'leadership'. Mr. Chow
You are right we do need a leader but not on the pitch. We need a manager
Beauchief Owl
Had Borner given away two pens I might have understood this post better. To say buying Hector would have stopped Obdubajo over playing it and being poor defensively is unlikely. Think LB ought to have been having words re this during training, and after analyzing matches, as he has been unconvincing as RB IMO.
newbster
If we had spent the 5 mil we could mess up our future.. Losing 2-1 Preston isn't the end of the world we go again against Rotherham then back in the league next week..

We are not too far away from a V good squad, all we need is a goal scorer "All we need" makes it sound easy dunnit. Let'slook around the lower leagues and see if there is owt there we can get and improve, with out wasting £5m. BRADDO
We simply cannot spend 5 million on any player at the moment. Hence the free signings and bobbar full backs.
