‘Poncey’ Reach. The same ‘Poncey  Reach’ that carried the team for 2 years, when others were off form, injured or whatever.

Ps Where do you get off singling out & slagging any Wednesday player.

Maybe to the less sophisticated ‘fan’, his perpetual contribution goes unnoticed.

Maybe you’d be happy with the likes of a’Cattermole’ type. He’s not ‘Poncey’ and gets ‘stuck in’. He’s fu ***n garbage, but he’s not ‘Poncey’.

Also where do you base your assessment of Westwood from? It is widely accepted he has had a slightly iffy start. Do you base your ‘assessments’ on watching live football, because they seem somewhat wide of the mark on a depressingly regular basis.

PS: Cattermole sucks! What does he have to do with anything?

Our goal was the result of logic and simplicity. Pass the ball to a left-winger with a wand of a left foot. Beautiful curling cross coming away from the keeper. Food and drink to a high-quality header like Fletcher.

Question - Can Harris play RW?

Answer (Just checked) - Yes he can. In his most recent season I injured he played 34 out of 39 on the right.

Reach left - Harris right. Perfect.

I would like to see Reach used at left back with license to bomb on (especially at home) like when he came on yesterday.

Hutch and Bannan play like centre halfs anyway so there is cover.

He had a good spell there when he came here. He needs space to run in to.

Reach has many skills, tackling isn’t one of them.

He was shocking when Carlos played him there and hasn’t recovered from this for some fans.

Reach has 1 game in 10. Get Fessi back for spark, speed and goals.

Reach had 9 goals and 7 assists last year and 4 goals and 12 assists the season before that.

Consistently performing and directly responsible for roughly 25% of our goals in both seasons (we scored 59 and 60 goals in those seasons).

Add in passes leading to assists, winning corners etc and you could probably argue he was involved in 30% of our goal tallies.

It's not 1976, not every single player is required to be smashing the testicles out of the opposition every single tackle. He's an attacking player and is doing exactly what he's supposed to be doing. Providing goals. We have defenders and combative midfielders like hutch for getting stuck in.

I've seen Harris pull out of a few tackles and lose a couple of tackles already this season, but I haven't seen anyone slagging him off for it yet. Reckon he's just neshing it too?

No he isn't but what do you think is the problem?

Bannan and Forestieri are the problem

They have been found out......

They are limited to a specific skillset ..

Opposing teams are doing  "the number" on us

We are predictable ..

The last 15 mins of Saturdays game shows how we must play ..

I think you are right about Bannan, shut him down and we struggle. FF is a different matter, he's a great player but inconsistent, rarely gets a start now so it's us (management) that's found him out. Sadly he's become a peripheral figure.

High press and high tempo is very effective but we seem to need to go behind to start using it. Better to play it from the start and get in front than chase the game.
