Preston - V - Wednesday OMDT

Recommended Posts

The issue for me today, is not the fact we lost, how often does a player give away 2 pens in a match, I don't think I've ever known that, the issue for me is lack of goals, good chances created and fluency going forward.

We've not been good at keeping the ball in the final third at all!

Perhaps, overrated doesn't mean they are poor players just to clarify

@Matthew Thomas not sure what you are confused by, neither are poor players just massively overrated by the majority of the fan base.

If you don't understand the meaning I will give you another example - if people said Marcus Rashford was world class they would be overrating him. Does that mean he is a poor player, obviously not, it is just that his actual worth has been overrated.

His career says otherwise.

Not bothered, from what I've seen he cant do full back, full stop, needs playing further up field where his pace may pay dividends,or just bring lorfa in and leave him out.

From what little we have seen of them Iorfa has more pace, attacks better, scores, and can’t possibly defend worse.

Plus, we have a Palmer as Fox or Reach can play on the left.

Reach cant tackle, but agree with the rest.

FT 2-1

What can I say.  2 stupid mistakes from the same player has cost us today.

To judge Bullen on two mistakes is a bit harsh.  We weren't good in the first half, but we certainly did improve in the second half and got better with each substitution.

I think Bullen  needs two wins next week.  See what happens.

A big week ahead.

Take it easy all.

UTO!!

That sounds like poor team selection initially, then suck it and see afterwards.

“Thankfully we had the penalty to break the deadlock.

As a player, you need to go through the moments where your back is against the wall.

You’re not going to comfortably win games at this level all the time."
