However from what we all heard, Loovens was someone who the other players listened to, and was a calming influence. I like continuity so this thought sits well with me. He was a very good captain that players looked up to, it was him who talked FF into playing vs Villa at home when he had the face on, he was a decent talker in interviews, has played for some big clubs and will have been coached well himself at Ajax.
