agentwalker
There were a few groans at one stage but not from the off. The problem he had in the first half was he didn't want to go forward and down the line to Harris. As soon as the ball came his body position was instantly facing back. 2nd half that all changed and he was on the front foot.
Ellis Rimmer
Definitely boo'd when his name was read, absolutely disgraceful, the opposite of support

This does not happen to other players, especially golden boys like Bannan. Booing someone is only ever going to.be counter productive. I don't see what anyone thinks will be gained by doing this. We're actually making it harder for the team we supposedly love to win. To be fair to Bannan, he's earned the right to be excused the odd mistake after the effort he's put in for us over the years. martyn8484
It goes against everything we claim to be. WAWAW? A family club? A loyal fanbase? WHY DO WE NEED A SCAPEGOAT? WHAT IS TO BE GAINED FROM SCAPEGOATING? It's infuriating

Some sort of back strain someone said at the game last night. Anyone know anything more detailed?
HIGHERSTATE
There should be a disclaimer at the back of the matchday programme "Lee Bullen is the current manager of Sheffield Wednesday. He picks who the hell (bloody filter) he wants" Edited August 21, 2019 by HIGHERSTATE
Rogers
No one should be booed before the match, it’s a pretty embarrassing .
CalmJimmers
Thing is, he's not even THAT bad. We've had players who have taken us for an absolute ride over the past couple of decades and haven't been bothered one iota who were far more deserving. We've got a left back who doesn't really cause that much trouble, after 2 wins in 3 games, and a few decide to boo him. Hopefully Fox appreciates it's only a select few who also decided to boo Chris Brunt and Lewis Buxton whilst they were here.
bigdan2003
It’s stupid. I dunno why some folk bother going to be honest, they clearly don’t enjoy it or even like Wednesday so why waste money. Miserable gets. Bloke near me started booing because we were passing it around a bit in the first half. We have a percentage of fans who, for some unknown reason, think we have the right to destroy teams week in week out. We’re going to have plenty of tough games this season, and we’re not going to pick them apart like Man City. Teams will show up and give us a game, they aren’t going to roll over. Far better in the second half. If that's true, shame on any one that did this. That's not what we should be about. Boo a bad performance, boo a huge mistake, DON'T BOO A PLAYER BEING ANNOUNCED IN THE TEAM, fizz sake! Can't disagree with this more. We'llNeverBeMastered
Tell you what, if you were one of the people booing then feel free to f*ck off and stay away from Hillsborough. Wednesday don't need you.
Tarquin
The groans at his announcement at the start were not great for the lad and it showed during a first half when we were often on the back foot . He was pretty good in his defensive play but got a nose bleed when asked to go over the half way line. The lad does not trust his right foot for owt other than standing on and it shows in his combination play with the rest of the team going forward. Have lost count of the number of times he has had the ball with his back to the line on half way and with a ball down the wing to a " third man running" isn`t even spotted and he uses his left to pass the ball back or square . This gets a bit wearing after a while and you know its going to happen . One of his biggest cheers last season was when he nutmegged a player with his right foot and left him for dead on a run up the wing . He appeared last night to get a lift when the team started playing on the front foot and I hope he can carry on and overcome the boo boys. Its been done before by Palmer and can still remember the stick Haslam got at one time .

Not booed once in my life, but if you want to boo, save it til the end of the match when it won’t affect our performance Bob on bud, let them know a performance wasn't up to standard at the final whistle, booing players before they've even kicked a ball does them and the team no good whatsoever. When they laid off him back end of last season his performances improved quite well. Need to just let the lad get on with his game and he'll hopefully have better games. Used to happen with planer, but he's really improved last couple of seasons.
