Two great little cameos at S6, but was wholly ineffective at the New Den. If any change I’d return Lee for either Reach or Bannan (who we’re also ineffective at Millwall and also to some degree for long periods last night)

They high press us into long balls and win the midfield battle via high energy. We counter that with Lee and Luongo - high energy possession players who benefit if Bannan is marked. Harris and Odubajo high press and try to get balls into Rhodes. Nuhiu has played well against the PNE system in past years so I would bring him on late. FF has really struggled against PNE so not sure if he gets on. Didnt Forestieri score against them last season?

S72 Owl
Subs; Dawson Iorfa luongo Murphy FF Rhodes Nuhui Really want to get Luongo in the team but the midfield 3 picks itself at the minute I think. Id have Murphy on the bench for some fresh legs last half hour.

Bouncing Owl
This is definitely a game for Big Dave. I’d bring him on at half time to replace Fletcher. We should have used him at Millwall as well. Schoolground bullies need the Dave treatment - they don’t like it!

S26 Owl
Option 1 433 Westwood Palmer Borner Lees Odubajo Luongo Bannan Lee FF Fletcher - Rhodes if Fletch isn't fit Harris Option 2 442 Westwood Fo Borner Lees Palmer FF Bannan Lee Harris Rhodes Fletcher/Nuhiu Gone for defensive full backs to let FF and Harris push on

Westwood Iorfa Lees Borner Fox Lee Luongo Bannan Odubajo Rhodes Harris Subs: Dawson Bates Palmer Pelupessy Reach FF Nuhiu Give Hutch and Fletcher a rest to avoid injury. PNE play down the right a lot so Moses can help out Iorfa. Moses also helps with a high press. Murphy ????

hirstys_achilles
I think i would rest bannan, he seems to be less effective when he muscled out. i would go 4 4 2 with murphy right mid. Probably right to rest hutch but we could do with him for PNE. Lee and Luongo are key if we go 442. If Rhodes and Fletcher play I would have Rhodes last man and fletcher between mid and rhodes
