The Hoppy Hopper
Good idea. The lad needs to get a run of games under his belt.

sMacLean
Definitely needs game time, going on loan to places like Livingston at 22 years old means he is miles away from the level required. Crazy our 'youngsters' haven't been out on loan more assuming clubs would take them.
JC_owl66
Realising a dream to play at the tony macaroni stadium Seriously should be a good test to play in Scottish Prem - good luck to him
Guest wilyfox
Finally. Penney & Baker too, please.
FreshOwl
No future here, might as well release him. Don’t mean to be harsh but seriously, he’s 22 and had one loan spell for 5 games, I mean cmon that’s ridiculous. He’s spent most of his career playing meaningless U23 games

Not necessarily....Thorniley went to league 2 accrington which is probably a lower level than the jock prem and he looks like he can make a championship player . owlZfan84
I can't believe the lad is still on our books. Should have left 2/3 years ago.
George
I know it sounds harsh but at 22, you have to think if he was ever going to be a player it would have started to happen by now. Mind you, how old was Ian Wright when he went to Palace? Or Jamie Vardy when he went to Fleetwood?
owlZfan84
Maybe he can find a better barbers whilst he's up there too. 1

Look how long it took K Lee to finally start to progress up the leagues?? He hda that bad injury just as sg was bringing him in and around the first team and missed 18 months of development, so fingers crossed this will help him catch up and come back closer to a breakthrough. FinnishOwl
What comes to his future here, let's give him this chance to show he has one before throwing him under the bus. It's hard to get through to the first team without getting proper competitive games at senior level. Even if it is the dreaded Scottish PL. Bluesteel
He needs more than just games, he needs to go up there and really impress.
Jon Newsome
Now or never for him, if it doesn't work out he'll be out of the pro game altogether by January. Baker I wouldn't even loan out, I'd just get rid. He's about 24 he was never a youngster even when he made his debut.
