Stobbs joins Livingston on loan.....

Recommended Posts

Definitely needs game time, going on loan to places like Livingston at 22 years old means he is miles away from the level required.

Crazy our 'youngsters' haven't been out on loan more assuming clubs would take them.

Not necessarily....Thorniley went to league 2 accrington which is probably a lower level than the jock prem and he looks like he can make a championship player .

I know it sounds harsh but at 22, you have to think if he was ever going to be a player it would have started to happen by now.

Mind you, how old was Ian Wright when he went to Palace? Or Jamie Vardy when he went to Fleetwood?

You can't forget the mighty "Waddler" as well bud.

Look how long it took K Lee to finally start to progress up the leagues??

He hda that bad injury just as sg was bringing him in and around the first team and missed 18 months of development, so fingers crossed this will help him catch up and come back closer to a breakthrough.

What comes to his future here, let's give him this chance to show he has one before throwing him under the bus. It's hard to get through to the first team without getting proper competitive games at senior level. Even if it is the dreaded Scottish PL.
