Hope FF gets some game time also. Reckon Luongo will start. I reckon FF will start too, can see Harris being rested.
gazzamk2
Feeling confident, not over confident, but confident. 3-1 tonight. Borner header and 2 for Nando
FinnishOwl
If Rhodes is to feature for us more this season, I think this would be a game where he should be in the starting eleven. Fletcher had a rough time on Saturday and could probably do with a bit of rest.

owls maniac
I'm shocked by that stat about only 2 defeats at home midweek since 2018. For some reason it feels like we always play awful for midweek games.

Squad rotation has to start right from the beginning of the season to keep the squad involved enough. Fletcher is not known for playing all the games and has a history of injuries. His playing style is quite heavy on fitness as he's battling with the centre halves all the time.

Any goal kick will be played short. Press them in their own half and watch a Jones' side collapse. 3-1 Wednesday. Mon the Owls ! We were effective at this against the Dingles. Fingers crossed for more of the same.

Squad rotation from the start is the worst thing you can do. You need to settle on a first eleven to get used to their roles. You dont see the top prem teams rotating strikers all the time, or any prem teams for that matter. Edited August 20, 2019 by s29wfc

Brentford did this to us a couple of seasons ago when Bullen was in temporary charge. They got it wide and forward early, bypassing our narrow midfield, and getting one one one with our full backs. Expecting a good game from Luongo tonight. Didn't think he was good last game, and he really needs to step it up tonight.
