IstillhateSteveBould
Days like today when we miss the likes of FF, Joao, Hooper. Where was FF? If he’s injured, fair enough. If he’s been left out of the squad, it’s a bizarre decision.

Great stats for an away team, looks to me like poor finishing was to blame not the manager! Someone's gonna get spanked fir 6 under Bully's attacking philosophy. It's all we've ever wanted aint it. Attacking footy.
HootHoot
On another day against another opponent we'd have battered them. But nothing in football is straightforward and today for whatever reason it just didn't go our way. Onto Tuesday now!

Bit strange I thought. Hutch to RB when natural RB went off. Rhodes instead of Nuhiu as a long ball option, to cause some havoc in their box. Next game along quickly so chance to bounce back

Lord Snooty
Think we have to give Millwall some credit. They packed that 18 yard box and leathered and headed and contested everything we put in their. In an odd way the sending off did them a favour, it stopped them going toe to toe with us and made them more compact. I'll not be losing sleep over it. We'll win more than we lose. victorturner
All those shots is something. Fletcher is not going to work as main striker-his goals per game have always been on the low side-so the question is who is going to score? FF' head may have gone given his pending appeal, otherwise the disgrace of accepting it
Maddogbob
The key is how they all come back from it. You cant win every game, its how you comeback from set backs and keep consistent. Lets see what happens tuesday.

I love how we know where all the other teams are going to finish after 3 games! It happens. We're not Man City. Well win more than we lose playing like we have done.

Mickjj
Think it was a tactical error today. Starting the second half with just one up front and just packing the midfield was never going to work against a well organised defence. Having said that tbe players played into there hands with slow build up play allowinv them to get everyone behind the ball
shezzas left peg
Some people seem to think PACE!!! Is the be all and end all in football. Today though is the reminder, pace is very hard to defend against in open play or countering. It proved today that you also need guile, trickery and movement. Against a team hemmed in playing batten down the hatches defencive football pace isn't very effective when you've no space to utilise. We needed Nando and bazza today, maybe winnals aggression would have proved useful in the box too as he's a bit like maguire used to be a nuisance that upsets and puts defenders off there game. bobbobbins
Millwall's defence was absolutely solid. Cooper was immense. They did a proper job on us and just sat back and parked the bus after the sending off. We would have never scored today if we played all day. They had the crowd behind em and also the referee was very biased. Sending off was only from linesman's input. They cheated, wasted time as you would expect. Millwall away represents a very unique test in this league. Nowhere else like it. Disappointed we let Smith have a free header and it called out for Nuhiu. Rhodes looked like a big girl's blouse against these big lads, totally ineffective. Murphy looked a little off it too. Take it as a learning experience I think. Im not having a meltdown over a muggy loss to Millwall. Back that up with a poor performance against luton, then you know alot more.
